and a character design based on those studies

Eu não morri. Tô desenhando, só não estava com ânimo de postar.

Mas não dá pra deixar todas as contas paradas. Nesses últimos 6 meses eu desenhei muito no papel e começei um curso de fundamentos de desenho. É a minha primeira vez fazendo algo do tipo.

Nesse curso, eu tive que sentar e analizar as artes de diversas animações. E depois, inventar uma pose concistente com o estilo original.

Comissão feita para a capa de um livro digital. Vou mostrar um pouco do processo.

Wow, this year there's a new season of Bridgerton and I'm not okay with it. Only 27 days left. ONLY 27. So here's some fan art from the first season. Daphne Basset, Duchess of Hastings, our first diamond.

There is a comission. You don't know how confusing it was until finding a design who my client enjoys.

Usually I like doing explorations with the characters (maybe a bad habit of mine, since they aren't ordered). Down here you can see some of the development process:

This was the first try. I did all at once, enterpretaning the client instructions. I was particulally focused on the 'demoniac' part and tried to enphasize it, but the character itself lost some of the elegant and scholar vibe.

Second try was simpler. Sillhouetes exploring diferent archetypes. One classic dark mage, one demon and one bourgeois high mage (or at least I called like this). My client liked better the first one.

Theeeeeen I prepared de sketch and designed some symbols to help the design. Costumes isn't my better skill, then there was a lot of references to guide my hand.

I proposed some collor pallets and different textures, and the client opted by a simple, clean and fine texture. Then, after setting everything up, it was time to draw the faces and rendering.

I finally finished this piece. Meet Eva, a serious knight with a great sense of honor and a silver spoon.

Helloo! I finished a new comission. That one took me a while, but I like the final result. Vibrant greens, a summer location, laughs and fruits and food, looks like it is a lovely britanish picnic!

It was a challenge to figure out some poses (this guy leaning down, cof cof), but.... it's working, right? Then we have the colors:

I... I learned I don't know how to paint abs... I am a little annoyed now.

But here is. I tried to learn with the last Rafayel's fanart and... not render like a madman.

We've got flowers, grass, warm lightnening and a lot of red! Amen?
