Learn About Auras
Everything in our universe is made up of energy. As living beings, we generate our own personal electromagnetic field— the aura. Animals and plants possess their own auras, too! Even inanimate objects carry energy and can have their own aura. Across history and multiple cultures, energy has gone by names such as: Qi, Prana, Soul, Life Force, Pneuma, Holy Spirit.
The aura is the energetic body created around a physical body, by energies both within and around the body. It can be made up of many different colors (below we will go into basic meanings). This can be seen around the body as a luminous glow. The aura acts as your energetic shell, regulating your system and protecting you. Your auric energy can extend anywhere from centimeters to feet away from your body.
When I read your aura, it appears similar to a colorful, glow-y mist around you. A Clairvoyant can see the aura, either in their mind’s eye or with the naked eye. A Clairsentient can feel and manipulate the aura. A Claircognizant has a knowing of the energy in the aura, like a download. A Clairaudient can perceive the aura as musical tones and sound frequencies. In everyday life, many people usually sense a person's aura as their 'vibe'.
Your Aura
Your dominant aura color generally remains the same for a period of time; anywhere between a few months to many decades. Other colors can come and go in as little as a few seconds. Shifts occur naturally throughout a person's life.
Different colors and patterns can indicate different things, such as: your personality type, personal tendencies, habits, karmic patterns, and your soul purpose. Features reveal emotions, health, needs, even potential obstacles you may soon face.

Basic Dominant Color Interpretations:
The below meanings are based on information gathered in my own life and through my studies of the human aura.
Pink: Relates to the heart chakra. The kindest and sweetest of the auras. They are full of love and driven by compassion. They care deeply about the people, animals, and even plants in their life. They're thoughtful and extremely giving. Pinks enjoy beautiful and eye-pleasing things, and because of this, they take lots of pride in their appearance.
Magenta:Relates to crown and root chakras. They're individualistic and unafraid to stand out from the crowd. People see the magenta aura bearer as quirky and youthful. They uplift those around them just by being who they are. Magentas make their own way, and ignores anyone who tells them they can't do something. They find unconventional ways to accomplish their goals.
Red: Relates to the root chakra. Ruled by logic and the material world; very grounded in the now. They enjoy working with their hands, and learn best by doing. They're action-oriented. People know they can rely on a red aura bearer. Reds typically have strong opinions. Their minds are not easily changed, even when presented with evidence and facts.
Orange: Relates to the sacral chakra. Active and physical people, very action-oriented. They enjoy testing their personal limits and setting new records for themselves. They appreciate a challenge. They can be at times too competitive. Orange aura bearers like to move their bodies and can be fidgety.
Yellow: Relates to the solar plexus chakra. Intellectual with strong mental energies. They’re most prone to rapid, excessive thoughts. This is a very youthful and at times even immature energy. Yellow aura bearers generally do not act, feel, or look their age. They're free-spirited and look for ways to make things fun. They feel best when they can share their happiness with others.
Brown: Relates to the root chakra. They're the most down-to-earth of the auras. They're deeply connected to nature, plants, and animals. They require time outdoors to feel their best. They care deeply about the environment. Browns have a warm presence. They're nurturing and caring, but usually keep their own feelings to themselves.
Green: Relates to the heart chakra. Very caring and compassionate individuals. Always supportive of others. They feel a calling to help others in any way they can. Greens also love to learn and read. They enjoy sharing their knowledge with people. They're usually organized, making lists or an outline of their plan before taking action. Greens tend to be the most sociable of the aura colors.
Turquoise: Relates to the heart and throat chakras. Healers and supporters. They use the wisdom gained through their life experiences to assist people in their own journeys. Sensitive, but carry themselves with tremendous strength.
Blue: Relates to the throat chakra. Expressive, and they do so with honesty. They have a talent for communicating with clarity. They are connected with creative expression, often writers or singers. Blues tend to be more introverted, with a quiet confidence. Blues are sensitive, and will too easily pick up energies that aren't their own, causing fatigue or exhaustion. They must be mindful of their boundaries.
Indigo: Relates to the third eye chakra. Very sensitive individuals, both emotionally and psychically. Highly intuitive abilities, with a well of wisdom. They're often into the occult or spiritualism. They are imaginative and artistic. People would describe the Indigo as an 'Old Soul' or a 'Star Child'.
Purple: Relates to the crown chakra. Purples bring about positive changes in the world. They are passionate about justice and social changes. They too often walk the most difficult paths in life. They have strong empathy and a sense for the energies around them. Purples require freedom to do as they please and work as they are motivated.
White: White auras typically are seen on newborns, or people who are deeply spiritual and connected with Divinity. This color is often present when a Guide or Guardian is nearby.

My Aura Readings
I could see auras in childhood, but in my teenage years it began to fade. In 2012, the ability came back strongly when I moved out of my parent’s house. I started to seriously study auras and develop an intuitive practice in 2014 I started Auras by Deerborrn in the spring of 2021, sharing my work and knowledge first through Instagram and Etsy. I have since expanded, becoming attuned in Usui Reiki II, Antojai, and have become a Holy Fire Reiki Master. I’ve also incorporated tarot and oracle back into my practice, adding another dimension to your reading or healing! Thank you for reading!
