Drident’s effect is so powerful!.  I’m trying these cards to give me a fighting chance.

Cairngorgon switches the target to a different monster. Since Zoodiacs tend to have a bunch of monsters on the field, I can switch the target to one of those monsters!.

I created a fun deck that appears to be competitive…without zoodiacs… and yet involves one of my favorite cards… Carboneddon. I don’t know what to call it yet. Try it out, and let me know what you think a suitable name should be.

Once upon a time, deep in the forest,

where spooky creatures lived,

and mystical plants dwell,

there was a fire statue

that marked the location to where legendary warriors are buried. 

But on this night, there were two spirit summoners - voodoo men

They were performing a ritual to revive the warriors because the town needed protection from approaching enemies. Next to the voodoo men were masked dancers,

who were dancing to the voice of the wailing singers

whilst the beseechers who seek the warriors’ protection,

chanted and stared nervously as they felt that this was their last hope. 

Then suddenly, the earth shook and lightning struck,

hitting a turtle by the wayside.

Then ground opened up,

and the warriors were revived!

Like a tornado, they swept their enemies away,

and the town enjoyed peace ever since.

While I try to evade the inevitable and make competitive yet creative decks without pendulums, I made some tweaks to decks I made for 7/15 format. My Iron Wind idea is one of them. This time I drafted some Kozmos to join the team:

Using Dragard to Target Labradorite, then synchro summon Lv10 synchros!

Using Carboneddon to get Labrodorite to field from deck or hand!

Targeting Nuit with Traps to chain the special summon of Labrodorite Dragon.

One thing I love about this card: I can set it face down, and give my opponent the surprise of his/her life - thinking they’re about to attack a pushover, only to flip a monster with over 5000 atk lol! This is my recipe with this awesome card!
