to be fair i think op is talking about, like, folks who were previously singlets
but like hey the idea that multiplicity can’t arise later in life is pretty based in how DID/OSDD-1 specifically work, so it’s not exactly like non-traumagenic systems are beholden to that anyway hah
and even if you think that it has to be formed earlier, then hey, maybe this newly formed fictive is just the first one who decided to be loud (if we hadn’t discovered/accepted our multiplicity until, say, bill cipher, then it might’ve looked like that). and maybe that means you don’t “honestly think” that, but you’d still be accepting of it anyway?
