Like seriously, I’m not joking around, this is very important!

Because this fic, it’s something else! It will suck you right in, rip you apart, glue you back together, only to end up breaking you all over again.

After Cas’ death – after the confession and Dean having to watch him sacrifice himself – Dean is more than determined to save his angel, no matter the costs. And since Death is one of the few beings in existence which is capable of entering the Empty, Dean’s eyes set on that very route. It’s dangerous, downright suicidal, and probably one of the stupidest things he ever endevored, but there is no stopping Dean in his grief and rage and guilt.

However, the powers of Death end up being too much for a human brain and Dean’s memories find themselves erased in the process. And suddenly the tables are turned and Dean is the one who needs saving.

If there is anything left of him to save, that is … 

The story is absolutely captivating, the author’s way with words and their ability to trigger the most powerful emotions with them actually kinda scary in their effectiveness.
