The meal we posted was all homemade by S and myself with the exception of the Kimchi which we did buy at one of our local Asian markets. S and myself have been cooking Korean for probably close to a year and half now and advice for someone starting out - Don’t start off too ambitious. We tried to make a huge feast our first time cooking and it was good but very overwhelming. Also I find that Korean cooking creates a lot of dishes so start off with a clean kitchen and a helping hand.

As for what dishes we created for our New Years feast we made pickled daikon, rice, Royal Court ddeokboki (non - spicy), Budae Jjigae (army base stew), Dakgangjeong (deep fried sticky chicken dish), pajeon (green onion pancakes), korean lettuce salad and fried tofu. If you are interested in where we get our recipes and inspirations from let us know and we can share some of those links and recipes with you guys.

Because I think it's childish and unecessary but after looking through 'their' blogs and noticing that they just casually take people's edits, re-edit them and claim as their own, I figured you all should know. I wouldn't be surprised if one of your edits were on there too.

I don't really have words for this. How does that make my edit yours? Because you adjusted the lighting a little bit? What's so hard about getting the original photo and making your own edit out of it?
