So the day started off slow thanks to snow and icky rain (B & L had to travel some ways to get to DC). We met up in Chinatown and had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays. It was hard to really get into our shenanigans full throttle because of the damn rain - not even gon' lie, plans sort of fell a little - but we still had fun. We visited the American Culture and American Indian museums as well as the botanical gardens. I saw Michelle Obama's inauguration dress, which is probably as close to her as I'm ever going to get; This made me incredibly happy. We got completely drenched in slush and rain as we travelled, which was no bueno for me because I planned in ADVANCE the outfit I was going to wear for such shenanigans and had my hair together and makeup was on point. Needless to say I looked like a wet poodle off the streets - NOT at all the look I was going for. Anyways, met up with T at her apartment (had a little bubbly) and then proceeded to this pretty awesome Mexican restaurant where K met up with us and of course we all reminisced about that life and divulged a little in 'gossip' I guess and personal situations. All in all, I had a great time with these awesome people, who I happened to stumble upon one day in early October. If only my feelings had stayed out the way.
