Ooh, darexme seems like a lovely Clara! I haven’t seen their URL before this, save for once or twice (--I think--I can’t remember at the moment, sorry!), so I don’t know them very well, but based on what I’m seeing, they’re doing a nice job with everyone’s favorite Impossible Girl. I love their many ‘verses! Lots of options, all of which are interesting studies of Clara’s character, in my view. Great job!

Hi! So, I do not mean to be rude in any way, I just saw your post and was somewhat confused to what you meant when you said revealing. I've collected almost all her outfits in the episodes that she's been in, and most of them aren't considered to be "revealing" at all. The only one I would think is slightly revealing is her outfit in "The Snowmen" because it shows a little cleavage. I was just wondering if you could clarify what you meant by "revealing?" c:

First of all, I want to preface this with something: I like Clara as a person, but not as she’s been written though. It’s complicated.
Besides that though and to do with her clothes, I just mean that she literally never wore pants. We saw a similar trend with Amy but she did SOMETIMES wear pants and in an extra scene, Rory got distracted by looking up her skirt and AMY was the one blamed.
Given Moffat’s past sexism that’s been subliminally and blatantly written into his characters, it just creeps me out a bit that Clara went from constant skirts to almost dressing like a nun and I just don’t think it’s a coincidence.
Basically, I have no problem with her usual wardrobe, I think it’s lovely, I just don’t think there could be any reason for the sudden change other than to point out that she’s no longer an object of desire and sexual attraction for the DOCTOR.
It’s just a sign that she was being objectified and idk it just squicks me.
