Sextou! 🙌🏼 E para comemorar, um gostoso Shiraz australiano!! 🤩 . Este é o “The Footbolt 2015”, da tradicional vinícola @DArenbergWine (fundada em 1912) no McLaren Vale. É um vinho 100% Shiraz envelhecido 12-18 meses em barricas (novas e usadas) de carvalho francês e americano. . A história conta que Footbolt era o nome do cavalo de corrida super premiado que seu criador (Joseph Osborn) vendeu para poder comprar o vinhedo d’Arenberg, 1912. O nome é uma homenagem a quem tornou tudo possível. 🐎 . Na taça, tem coloração rubi intensa. Os aromas mostram frutas negras em compota, um leve mentol e especiarias (como pimenta negra e canela). Em boca é seco, tem muito corpo, acidez média-alta e taninos intensos mas bem macios. Fruta negra e pimenta-do-reino, com média persistência. . Um belo Shiraz australiano! Estruturado, certamente evoluiria com mais alguns anos de guarda e, talvez, ganhasse alguma complexidade (que fez um pouco de falta). 90 pontos. . . .
