You can hate all you want. But with a chicken Alfredo this @chateaustemichelle Riesling is a solid pairing. Yes, it’s almost medium sweet. The Germans call this a fruity style. CSM is a solid winery and makes good quality across the board. It’s got enough acidity to cut through the Alfredo sauce. And the fruit compliments the dish overall. Riesling is one of the most versatile wines out there. I had other options. If I didn’t have this wine I prolly would have gotten a Chardonnay. I present to you the complete maps of Champagne. It’s been a long process figuring out everything in order to present the most accurate map I can. Triple checked for accuracy, but as with any map, decisions were made on how some things were presented. Especially since much of what we learn doesn’t have official legal status when it comes to the wine. Just commonly used names for larger areas or districts. Yes, I don’t have labels in these maps. I’m sure I’ll add them to my Google Earth Pro files, but for now I got stuff to do. Anyway, NOW I can create my video for my upcoming NYE special. The video will maybe be 1-2 minutes long. Coming tomorrow. My 11-Part series of farming practices and the wines that come from them. Unfiltered. The straight dope on them. Been working on my scripts for my upcoming reviews. 23 shows!!!! And that doesn’t include the 3 holiday specials I do each year. So I got six months worth of material to record soon. I still have to finish my Freestyle Friday stuff too. I’ve gotten the first drafts of conventional, organic, and bio farming and the wines that come from those completed. I’ll need to do sustainable and natural after that. These will all form the basis of my how the sausage is made series that will go into actual winemaking practices. For the non-winemaker. Get ready world. I’m going to show you the reality of winemaking. It’s not all romance, but it’s not all cold and calculating either. It’s a combination of both. While I’m calling these Freestyle Friday videos consumer level educational shows, in reality I’m showing you some of what your favorite somms, and other wine professionals need to know for their grueling exams they take. Though I expect these videos to actually go way more in depth than what we actually need to know for a test. That’s because I genuinely want to know everything about it. At least as much as I can understand without having to take all the chemistry and other courses. If you’re in the industry, these will be very helpful. Small break from new shows. Working on #freestylefriday scripts. Have four mostly written, but I need to review/revise two on #sake. This one should be done but I’ll want to go over it again to make sure and o also have one on #mead. Because of how I schedule and record the episodes my video for next Monday will also be delayed. First time since the beginning of October last year that I’ll skip a full week of shows. Or at least I think so. Five full months. Look for more in a week or two. Also gotta finish that beer steward book and then go into full-study mode. That will kickstart my next project I hope to start recording soon and then release in about 2-3 months. My most ambitious yet.
