Finally getting around to uploading my #dapperday photos! I'll start off with my favorite one. Almost two years ago, I went to my first Dapper Day wearing a barong Tagalog, the national costume of the Philippines. It is traditionally made from pineapple leaf fibers woven loosely. Given that Dapper Day often falls on unusually hot weather days, this was an obvious choice for comfort, style, and to showcase my heritage. When my parents went to the Philippines to visit family earlier this March, I asked for a new barong with my measurements for a more fitted design.
