Hestia: describe your ideal house
ooooh, good question. the boring, depressing answer is “a house of my own, of any kind whatsoever, already fully paid for, and which I wouldn’t have to share with ten housemates who NEVER do the dishes.” but leaving aside the standard millenial shit, if I could actually dream a little?
let’s build it someplace high up, but with a view of the sea. a cliff overlooking the beach, with a winding path down. an indoor/outdoor pool on the ground floor, with an infinity edge that feels like it connects directly to the ocean.
an open, airy floorplan, with giant windows and lots of natural light, but bedrooms that are small and cozy. a bathroom with one of those ridiculous showers that make you feel like you’re in the middle of a rainforest, and a giant jacuzzi bathtub. one of those giant fancy kitchens you always see in magazines, with appliances that actually work as intended, none of this “washing the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher” or “lighting the stove with a lighter” foolishness.
I’m gonna stop there, before my imagination gets too out of hand and I get depressed all over again.
Zeus: three places you want to travel to
I mean, I kind of want to see the entire world. but narrowing it down to three places I’ve never been:
Australia. I desperately want to dive the great barrier reef before it’s completely destroyed.
Thailand. it’s been on my list FOREVER, but I’ve still never been to south asia at all.
Argentina. I’ve ALMOST gone there like six times now, but something gets in the way every time, and those plans have always fallen through. seventh time lucky?
