so when I was little there wasnt any like good superhero movies with decent quality. Yes there was fantastic four, the hulk, wolverine, and some x-men. But the ones that were out at the time were either too dark as in serious, or dark as in lighting *looking at you wolverine * for younger audiences. (I love them now ofc, but I was like 3)

Anyway when the toby maguire spiderman movies came out, I was OBSESSED. I looked up to spiderman so fucking much. I loved him and still do, I will defend him with my life.

As a visual, think of deku with all might. The merch the love the knowledge. Yeah that's me with spiderman.

Little bitty me had spiderman shoes,gloves,several t shirts(my fave was the one with the web armpit things),a sleeping bag yes a spiderman sleeping bag, hat, umbrella, bedsheets, etc. My mom went and got the first spiderman blanket fabric she could find at the time and bought it to make me a blanket. I still have that blanket it's as old as I am.

Now, one of my neighbors that I went to highschool with,who was in theatre with me and now were both members of 2 different dance teams. We were on a class field trip for the 3 day weekend. I packed my spiderman blanket because it's easy to pack its bot to heavy weight y'know, perfect size and comfy on the bus ride. I get on the bus and see my friend wrapped up in the SAME EXACT FUCKING BLANKET!

I thought it was mine, I pulled out mine and was liek" when did you get that??"

"Oh my mom made it for me, back when the first movies came out,wait what the fuck you have the same one?!?"

"Yes! Our moms really thought the same thing for their spiderman obsessed first borns huh?"

Then we both proceeded to bond over spiderman shile wrapped in our matching blankets....we also cried together after infinitely war..as our class made fun of us
