The relationship became poly when Jasper, who had a crush on Calvin, came to visit us at our house one day. Jas had never met me before, but when he did meet me, he said that he had a crush on me as well immediately. And, something just clicked with the three of us. 

We decided to all be together because it was very well balanced and happy, and open and honest. It just felt right. There was no jealously, or confusion within the relationship. I actually really like being poly (there are more people in the relationship besides just Calvin and Jas and I now, btw). 

Every day I come home, and I get showered in kisses, and lots of hello’s and I missed you’s. It feels like a family vs just a partnership. I’m never alone at home now, because someone is always there. Calvin works a lot, and he used to feel guilty that I was alone often. But, since there’s a more of us, it’s so homey and safe feeling. 

Gosh, why do I always ramble? Long story short, we decided to become poly because it was the right choice for us. Every person in our relationship fits in like a puzzle piece we didn’t know was missing. We are all open and honest, and the relationship is very healthy. It’s not the right choice for everyone, and some people can’t put aside jealousies to make it work. 

I love our family.
