We spend a lot of time trying to build peace.
Better circumstances. The right people. A quieter mind. A version of ourselves that finally has it together.
But peace doesn't work like that.
It isn't something you construct. It's what was always there — underneath the noise, the striving, the holding on.
You don't find peace. You stop covering it up.
