A little fun.

Your self-esteem is going to have bad days.

It's going to fold when the silence lasts too long. It's going to believe the critical voice. It's going to dip when things don't go the way you hoped, or when someone you wanted didn't choose you.

That's not weakness. That's what feelings do. They respond to life. They move.

But your worth doesn't live there.

It was never connected to how well you performed, or how loved you've been, or whether you've finally gotten yourself together. It's not something you earn. It's not something you lose. It was yours before anyone had an opinion about you — and it will still be yours long after this hard season passes.
