PSG Players as Teachers
Neymar: Music teacher. He's terrible of course and his singing voice is straight up awful (poor guy doesn't know it). But his classes are really fun and an easy A. So students always look forward to them. Downside, he starts drama with all the other teachers all the time, and rumours about who he's actually in relationship with among the staff is a hot topic throughout the school. Xavi is his assistant teacher and he's the only reason things get done most of the day. He's sweet and students adore him. He's also the only one who can make Neymar stop singing before all their ears bleed. Neymar also introduces the class to pretty amazing songs and teaches them how to dance. Which is really cool.
Marquinhos: Math teacher. Strict and at first students are afraid to approach him but his passion and understanding of how difficult his subject is, as well as his remarkable talent to explain the subject in the simplest term possible, makes students respect and love him. Plus he doesn't call on anyone in class when they don’t raise their hand and is willing to stay after hours to explain anything anyone finds confusing. His class has the highest passing rate and the highest grades in general.
Presnel kimpembe: Art teacher. He is so sweet and funny students love him. His classes are the highlight of many students day and he always has these really creative projects that everyone looks forward to. Fadiga is his assistant and together they arrange all these museum trips and movie days for the kids that their classes are always packet and students avoid missing them if they can. Plus, Presnel never holds anyone's lack of skill or talent over their head and continues to remind his student that as long as they work hard on it, anything they do will look great to him.
Kylian Mbappe: Gym teacher. He landed the job by accident. Half the students sometimes mistake him for a fellow student. But despite the weird circumstances which landed him the job, Kylian is an excellent gym teacher and a sucker for sob stories. Students that come to him with an excuse not to participate always have the chance to sit out and he makes sure to give them other stuff they can do later so they don't miss out on their grades. If a student who hates gym says their gym class is pretty cool, chances are it's Kylian teaching. When he's not leading gym classes however, he's in Neymar's classroom hanging out and singing out of tune with him.
Marco Verratti: French teacher. He's very enthusiastic about it even after having taught in this school for years and students find him highly amusing. He frequently deviates from the curriculum and often shows movies and has students perform their favorite pieces of media in French. And his class, while difficult is always exciting and interesting. He is a harsh grader though, and that makes students a bit iffy on taking his classes. Fights with parents all the time. But is super sweet to the kids. --- Also in relationship rumours with Neymar for obvious reasons (such as hanging off of his shoulders 90% of the time.)
Ander Herrera: English teacher. Funny but also very strict. He takes his subject very seriously and while he's fun in your everyday classes, come exam time, he quickly shuts that down and start drilling students on the important topics and grammars they've covered throughout the semester. He is very meticulous about his course and students who're taking his classes for the first time can be thrown by this, but long term students love him because he never grades lower than a C+
Mauro Icardi: Spanish Teacher. That's pretty much it. His entire personality is a Spanish teacher. He constantly just babbles on in Spanish, no one can understand him and he has this weird idea that if everyone just speak the language throughout the class the students will pick up on it automatically. Third year Spanish students are fine with this, but he often scares away beginners. He's a nicer teacher but he can't read the room. His music taste is great though and he always has something on in the beginning of class. Unfortunately, he has the lowest scoring students of his year.
Keylor Navas: History teacher. He's soft spoken and sweet and he's always so happy when his students do well. But his classes are very boring and while he's a great teacher, he is also unfortunately highly underrated. It's stupidly difficult to stay awake in his classes. But students try very hard from sheer need not to hurt his feelings. His exams come from the lectures which makes it a bit difficult if you miss anything. But he always makes sure to send out helpful notes to whoever needs it and makes sure only the bare minimum reading his required. Making him smile fondly is half the reason students work so hard in his class.
Angel Di Maria: Psychology teacher. Some classes he's half asleep. Can barely make him do anything and students have to work through their own lecture material (his assist teacher Kayz comes in handy in this department). Most classes though are extremely entertaining and fun as Angel is charismatic and answers even the dumbest questions. He breaks down difficult topics easily and everyone come out of his classes knowing enough to at least pass a quiz the next day if there was one. He hates surprise quizzes though, so he always let students know ahead of time. Students think he's super cool. Also, he often gives them existential crises.
Rafael Alcântara: Drama teacher. He puts everything into his classes but half his students are distracted by how attractive he is and tend to forget their lines when he smiles at them or praises them. He is just that really sweet, attractive teacher that’s basically a dream for students. And so his drama classes are always packed. He’s also the kind of teacher to pay things from out of his own pocket and tends to go the extra mile to ensure any performance goes off without a hitch. Fuels gossip rumours as well, as he too ends up in Neymar's class and they collaborate a lot through musicals and performances.
Jesé Rodríguez: Was the homeroom teacher. Used to always talk loudly on his phone and basically air his family drama to the entire class. He eventually got fired because of some shady things he did but he’s still, you know.... just there. Students have no idea why he’s still hanging around the school or why he subs in whenever a teacher is out sick when he’s supposed to be fired. But rumours has it that Principal Tuchel has yet to finalize the papers because the higher ups messed somethings up when the initially signed him. And their homeroom teacher has no shame of his own to walk away from it all. So yeah, he’s just.... there.
Julian Draxler: German teacher. He's smart, well spoken, but takes his lessons very seriously and thus barely smiles in class. But when he does, like when a student says something funny in German or they’re watching a German movie that’s hilarious, it's the best thing and he looks so young and happy. His classes are hard to get into because he only takes those who’re willing to put in the effort. And since he doesn’t teach intro classes, his standards are pretty high. But his passing rate is above average and majority of his students have much more confidence in their German when they finish his course. Everyone is also pretty sure he has a crush on Mr. Kimpembe, who seems to be a frequent guest in their classroom.
Idrissa Gueye: Geography teacher: Students constantly fall asleep in his class. His voice is way too soothing and his lectures way too boring. But somehow he has the best performing geography students in the entire school. Probably because he takes all his students on these expeditions twice a year, were they actually learn things and he test them on that. Everyone looks forward to those trips and even the knowledge of having to write a paper on it doesn’t dampen their mood. Plus, there are a lot of group projects in his class to prevent boredom (even if students may not like it) and he is a fair grader (grading each student on individual performances rather than as a group). He is probably one of the most well liked teachers among the staff.
Alessandro Florenzi: Chemistry teacher. That fun, crazy teacher you think has full control over the situation because he’s acting so calm about it, but he really got no clue? Yeah, that teacher. And students only find that out when the chem-lab explodes and he’s ushering them out while muttering worriedly under his breath. He has also been with this school for less then a year and students are just getting used to his energetic attitude towards the material. Which is a refreshing new change from their previous, stick in the mud teacher. So the class is still pretty exciting despite all the less than safe occasions and dangerous mishaps. His assistant Moise Kean keeps him in line most of the time however, and Moise is the one who makes sure no one is blowing anything up while the Chem teacher is busy cheering students on.
Leandro Paredes: Physics teacher. Very intimidating in the beginning. Very scary. Tends to get angry when people don't pay attention in class. And might unintentionally make students cry. But whenever he does he panics and fumbles around trying to apologize, and students quickly realize he only looks scary but really is all soft and gooey inside. He also has weird rivalry with other schools who he thinks believe they’re doing better than their school. His students are often encouraged to take part in national physics tournaments so he can stick it to those quote unquote “bastards.” Also in relationship rumours with Neymar because so far he laughs around him only.
Thilo Kehrer: Computer teacher. He like Kylian, landed in this job by some freak accident. But he adapts very quickly and since he did major in the field, manages to take on all his responsibilities without much problem. He also has this ability to calm students down pretty quickly and able to handle their mistakes in such a way they don’t feel humiliated or too freaked out. Probably because he had such a hard time learning these things himself and can emphasize with mistakes done under pressure. Somehow, his computer classes become a safe space and a fun place to learn and grow. Students love and respect him because he earns it by just being himself.
Juan Bernat: Biology teacher. Students loved his class. He was an amazing teacher and always managed to make the exams easy to understand and as long as you put enough effort into studying, there would usually never be any surprises by the end of the year exam. Students liked him well enough back then but the moment he took an extensive break (for medical reasons) and they got another teacher in his place, they suddenly realized how amazing he was at his work. And they miss him even more than they initially did. He has a lot of “Come back soon,” cards and “Get well soon,” cards mailed to him every day and even more emails. The staff misses him too.
Sergio Rico: Philosophy teacher. He tends to go under the radar and most students if asked can’t really say whether they like him or not. He’s very soft spoken and kind but generally quite boring and his classes feel as if they drag on and on. Of course it has nothing to do with him personally as the lectures he’s forced to teach are very dry but still, he isn’t on anyone’s favorite teacher’s list. But as a substitute! Everyone loves him as a substitute! Whenever he subs in for gym class or music or even history, it’s like a switch turns inside his head and he’s all chatter and excitement and funny. And students absolutely adore him as a substitute teacher. Very solid teacher whenever he’s needed to step up and fill a spot on a short notice.
Danilo Pereira: Political science teacher. He was originally signed as Math teacher but since Marquinhos was doing so great with the class he was put in as a political science teacher. It’s only his first year but he’s adapted well enough and his intimidating height make students think twice about fooling around in his class. First midterm exams have shown some improvement in performance and he’s optimistic to see even further upward curve in students results when he gets into the full swings of things. The staff already like him and some of the students know him from this big fight he had with Jese his first day at the school. He has a legendary status among the student population that he doesn’t know about yet.
Layvin Kurzawa: Home ec teacher. A disaster. The whole class ends in a disaster 90% of the time. And his obsession with fashion and his inability to actually make anything edible makes home ec..... very interesting. Half his classes end up with ordering out pizza. And since he’s all too willing to pay for them out of his own pocket, it’s basically 50/50 chance students get pizza out of his class, which is really cool and makes everyone want to take home ec with him. It’s a well kept school secret though and and every new class always end up being surprised by it.
Abdou Diallo: Literature teacher. All kinds of literature..... any kind of literature. He often goes out of his way not to teach what he’s supposed to teach. Instead teaches about heavy subjects that are frankly scarring. Had to be talked to by the principle a couple of times. His self awareness isn't quite there. And students are often left with very disturbing history lessons taught through fiction running around in their heads. But he also has a very fair ‘choose your own book’ mid semester essay that takes up 30% of your grades. Where even the shortest books are allowed so long as you actually read them and write a comprehensive paper on it. When asked if he could even grade so many different papers from so many different books, he only shakes his head and says “I have yet to grade a paper on a book I haven’t read.” Students are trying their best to change that by being extra creative with their choices, but no success yet.
Colin Dagba: Journalism club. And pretty much all other clubs. He isn’t a regular teacher, mostly subs for English classes, but he runs pretty much any club under the moon. He also is willing to start and supervise a new club as long as enough students show interest in it. He is every man teacher. And students fondly refer to him as superman. Since he’s so willing to go out of his way to ensure they all get what they want, no matter how troublesome and costly it may be. He therefore, often finds himself overworked and gets hurt a lot. Doesn’t stop him from coming back and carrying on as if nothing happened though. Principle Tuchel worries about him a lot.
Mitchel Bakker: Yearbook supervisor and guidance counselor. He’s quite new and student try to push him around, but it never works. He’s very stubborn about getting his job done and never letting down the people around him. He loves working on the yearbook club with the students and often works with Dagba because of that. Students fear his height, and while he tends to stand his ground a lot which makes him even more intimidating, he also has a habit of running off when things get too embarrassing. Which has made kids soften up to him and make fun of him a lot.
