Behind Closed Doors (X F.Reader)
𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: in which the two of you were supposed to be strictly just ❛ friends with benefits ❜ until Gavi realizes just how important you are to him.
There is just one rule regarding a friends-with-benefits situation. Whatever you do, don't fall in love.
And somehow, Gavi had broken it.
But now was not the time to be thinking about it.
"Good girl, just like that- fuck." The brown-haired boy's teeth sunk into his lower lip as you rolled your hips against his, feeling the way your velvety walls perfectly wrapped around his cock. "Doing so good for me."
A whimper escaped your throat as you placed your hands on his bare stomach, fingertips dancing over his abs, trying to ignore the prominent ache in your thighs. However, he noticed your exhausted movements, concern slightly furrowing his brows.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I-" You swallowed, quivering as his dick hit the right spot inside you. "It's too much."
Deciding to take control, Gavi quickly pulled you off him before flipping you back onto the bed and pushing back into you again, dropping his head against your bare chest at the feeling. "Fuck. C'mon, you can take it . . . There we go, beautiful."
Your heart skipped a beat behind your ribs at the name that slipped from his mouth before you sighed in pleasure as he began to thrust into you again, slow and deep strokes, his hazel eyes heavy-lidded with lust ( and, unbeknownst to you, love ).
"Look so pretty like this." He murmured, watching as your back arched, the sounds falling from your mouth begging for him to speed up. He obeyed your pleas with a smirk, aware of the way you tightened around him, a usual indication that you were close.
He had become so familiar with your body.
"Gonna cum." You mumbled, eyes rolling back into your head before another spark of electricity shot through you as the pad of Gavi's thumb found your clit, circling the bundle of nerves as the knot tightened in your stomach.
"Me too, shit." He hissed, thrusts becoming sloppy as he fucked you deeper into the mattress. "Fuck, come on, baby, cum. Cum for me."
And you did. Your body trembled, welcoming the intense but blissful wave that washed over your silhouette and crashed through your veins as Gavi, holding your hips in place, came with a moan, trembling as he spilt into the condom.
He then practically collapsed on top of you, exhaling heavily, before pulling out. Stepping away for a moment, Gavi discarded the condom before returning to his bed, honey-hued irises trailing over your weary figure which was sheened with sweat. "You okay?"
You responded with a hum, gazing at him through your lashes. "Never been better."
He chuckled at your answer, however, his smile soon dropped as he watched you stand up from the bed, collecting your clothes from the floor. "You leavin' already?"
Your head lowered, avoiding his glance towards you as you tugged on your panties. "Yeah . . . I mean, that's our deal isn't it?"
Of course. The deal.
It was the agreement between the two of you before beginning this sort of relationship and it's rules included total secrecy, no questions, no kissing and most importantly, no romantic feelings.
He nodded once, disappointment twisting in his chest. "Yeah. You, um- gonna come to the game tomorrow?"
You sent him a soft smile, buttoning your jeans. "Of course. Gotta show my support for the team, right?"
"Right," Gavi mumbled, jaw shifting at your use of the word team and not you.
"Um, okay, I'll see you tomorrow, then." Your lips pressed together awkwardly as Gavi pulled on a pair of sweatpants to walk you to the door.
"See you." His words were blunt, a bitter tone braided through the comment, but before you could question it, he had closed the door behind you, leaving himself alone with his swirling thoughts.
The roar of thousands of dedicated fans across the stadium was a sound that Gavi could never get sick of. As he jogged out onto the field, the dewy grass tickling his ankles, he couldn't help but slowly scan the crowd, seeking your familiar, comforting smile.
But it was nowhere to be found. His heart dropped as he silently cursed himself in his head for ever thinking you were going turn up.
You guys were just friends with benefits and that's all you guys were ever going to be. Plain and simple.
Meanwhile, impatiently tapping your fingertips across the leather steering wheel, you let out a huff, watching the vehicles in front of you move just inches.
"For fuck's sake." You laughed to yourself, eyes rolling heavenwards in annoyance at the sight of the bumper-to-bumper traffic. "Of all days there has to be a traffic jam, it has to be today. Of course."
Eyes flickering over to the time displayed on the screen in the middle of the dashboard, your features scrunched into a wince, realising that the game had already begun.
You eventually arrived at the field, hurriedly presenting your entry pass for special access into the team's rooms ( a casual present that Gavi had given you a few weeks ago ) before being ushered into your seat, just as the whistle to signify half-time echoed throughout the pitch.
An unfamiliar and unusual sense of guilt curled in your stomach as your eyes found a dejected-looking Gavi, walking into the tunnel with his team and disappearing from your sight. Wrinkling your nose slightly, you found yourself feeling disappointed in yourself for arriving at the game late, despite the circumstances being out of your hands.
Why do you care so much, Y/N, about his reaction? It's not like you're dating or anything!
And finally, it dawned on you.
It was the perfect opportunity.
Gavi had broken away from the defenders, the ball at his feet, effortlessly dancing through the swarm of players, before striking the ball perfectly, his hazel irises lighting up as it hit the back of the net.
The stadium exploded into screams as you jumped to your feet, a beam stretched across your face as you cheered, watching as he celebrated with his teammates before glancing up towards the stands where those who had special access were seated.
And, miraculously, his gaze found and connected with yours, the realisation tugging his lips into a grin before he subtly nodded towards you and blew you a kiss, the small gesture causing a whole kaleidoscope of butterflies to flit in your stomach.
Eventually, the game ended with the score being 2-0 and you found yourself in the hallway, waiting for Gavi to emerge from the tunnel. As soon as he had noticed you, he jogged up to you, his strong arms immediately enveloping your body.
"Hi." He murmured happily into your ear before parting from you, glancing towards his team and beginning to chew on the inside of his lip anxiously. "I- . . . I need to tell you something, Y/N. In private."
You shadowed where his eyes trailed before nodding, feeling his hand gently grasp yours before leading you to the staircase, far away from his teammates and their nosy eavesdropping. "Is everything okay?"
"I can't do this anymore, Y/N. I can't keep pretending like this."
"Pretending like what?"
"Like I want to be just friends who fool around. I- I want to be more than that."
Your lips parted at his confession, eyes widening as adrenaline buzzed through your veins. "But your career! Those rules we have-"
"Fuck the rules." His voice interrupted your rambling, the serious tone that bled through his words causing you to instantly lift your head up towards his. "I don't want you to be just a distraction anymore. I want to be more than that."
And at his words, you tenderly pressed your lips to his. His heart thudded against your fingers as you rested your hand on his chest, joy blossoming through your stomach as he smiled against your mouth.
Gavi soon pulled away, a cheeky smirk playing on his lips. "Shame on you, you've broken rule number three now."
His comment earned a playful eye roll from you, feeling your fingers intertwining with his. "Well, y'know what I was told once?"
"What?"
"Fuck the rules."
