Types of Divination
I've had some difficulty finding different types of Divination these past few days so I thought I may make the stuggle easier for some by posting what I've found.
-Aeromancy: Looking at clouds for meanings -Biblomancy: Scyring by using a book -Ceraunoscopy: Interpreting signs from thunder and lightning -Cleromancy: Casting Lots -Clidomancy: Using a pendulum -Dactylomancy: Using a dangling ring as a mean to communicate with spirits -Geomancy: Looking at figures on the ground and interpreting their meaning -Libidomancy: Observing smoke from fires or incense and interpreting their meaning -Lithomancy: The casting of rocks and interpreting their meaning based on where they landed -Numerology: The use of numbers in divne ways. Dice are a great way for this use -Oculomancy: Soul Gazing, or looking into someone's eyes to see what their soul is like -Oneiromancy: The interpretation of dreams -Palmistry: The study of lines on a person's hands and interpretng their meaning -Precognition: The ability to be able to sense upcoming events -Psychometry: Learning or obtaining information using impressions about objects -Rhapsodomancy: Using books of poetry as a way of scrying -Scrying: Looking at books, bowls of water, crystal balls, or mirrors to observe and learn what one may want.
