NO ONE ASKED FOR MY THOUGHTS ON NAUGHTY BOY BUT HERE IT IS
I did not like it at first but I WAS SO NAÏVĘ!!! AT FIRST I was still in a big huff about it not having E’Dawn or Yanan in it and was just trying to find reasons not to like it. AT FIRST I said that they were just trying to achieve the same thing as Shine (that weird but cute aesthetic) but not as well and was bitter because there were certain parts (especially Kino’s beginning part) that felt like they were supposed to be E’Dawn’s.
But after looking up the track listing for the album, I noticed that E’Dawn worked on the composition and lyrics for the song. So I looked up the lyrics AND BOY OH BOY E’DAWN WENT OFF! The song was all about not caring about what ‘the frogs’ say and loving who you love! Loving someone who makes you feel three years old! Acknowledging that you have changed but it’s okay because everyone changes, even the people that tear you down! He really wrote that song about what he was going through! And the rest of the boys really performed it!! They were like THIS IS HOW YOU MADE OUR FRIEND FEEL and just layed it all out there! The screaming in the song?? These are big feelings that should be screamed. The parts that felt like they should be E’Dawns? They felt like they were his because the boys weren’t denying that he should be there! They sing about getting the courage to take that leap, and man, they reALLY DID THAT.
They supported him so much by performing this and I LOVE this song ughdndsjbsjsaja
