you were just relaxing at home, being lazy until your phone suddenly rang. it was 8 pm and you didn't expect any calls, considering that one, your boyfriend was at an event and two, you're unemployed.

as the phone kept buzzing, you couldn't help but get curious. so, you stood up from your chair and answered the phone. "hello? who's this?" you spoke into the device.

"y/n! heyyy, it's me myungho! could you come over to the venue? jun is totally wasted after a few drinks and he has no way of getting back," minghao's voice was heard through the speaker. he, being your best friend, was the only one who knew about you and jun.

"...he seriously drank? and a lot too? fine, i'll be there in a second," you responded casually before hanging up the phone. you went over to your closet and took out a nice pair of clothing, more specifically a black and blue striped sweater and denim jeans.

you hopped on your motorbike and sped off at a speed that would throw people off, but not necessarily going over the speed limit. soon enough, you arrived at the host venue and took off your motorcycle helmet.

keeping your motorbike at a safe, parked area, you eased through security, making sure that the security knew you weren't harming anyone. "i'm just here to pick someone up!" you'd say every time a guard came closer to you.

the moment you entered the circle, you did get looks due to how you were dressed. you were obviously much less formal than everyone else, wearing casual attire. after looking around for a while, you spotted jun, bent over a chair and dazed.

you rushed over to jun's side, trying to see if he'll respond. "junnie, hey... it's me..." you nudged him, shaking his shoulder a bit. jun could only respond by looking back and leaning onto you.

"this boy... how'd i even get to be yours..." you playfully complained, wrapping his arm around your shoulder. you saw minghao in the distance and he waved, prompting him a thumbs up from you.

while you dragged jun away from the party, you garnered yourself quite a lot of eyes from the bystanders. some whispered, wondering who you were, others moved away to make room for you to take jun. "who's that?" "are they jun's partner?" "what are they doing here?"

as you got outside, you realized that it was already the dead of night, and somehow, jun was already sobering up? "my dear... are we going back home now?" he murmured into your shoulder, voice slightly hoarse.

"...yes junnie, we're going back home, now hold on tight. i'll be a bit quick this time..." you notified jun, who was holding your waist tightly. you revved up the motor engine and sped off into the dark.
