im thinking he's prolly a GUN soldier much like stone, but he was only sent to robotnik after stone was he didnt really know stone all that well at GUN and he's pretty intimidated by him when they meet. they eventually get along bc stone trains him and teaches him to make sure he's perfect for the doctor

"my machines are far superior to any human" "so make me like your machines, please. make me better."

eventually robotnik complains about his efficiency and says hes gonna send him back

cybun pleads with him "ill do anything, just tell me how to be better" and stone kinda wants him to stay too but yknow doctor's orders

then maybe robotnik thinks of it or maybe even stone whispers the idea to him, but cybun gets cyborg parts
