genuinely and unironically this is one of the most dystopian aspects of this site, for me. it would be one thing if anything tagged with these tags got subjected to immediate moderator review (not that i'd agree with that, but it'd be different), or if i had to opt-in to viewing them, but they are on the site, my options are set so that i do view adult content, and moreover i am actively choosing to seek it out so i am not happening across it by accident, but i'm not allowed to??? because @staff has decided me wanting to see it is yucky nasty?? because i'm beholden to @staff's morals instead of getting to have any agency?? because some credit card companies don't want to be associated with sex??? because of money????
