I just thought this would be kinda hilarious if they were all just talking and came to this realization

"This is one I took on our date a few days ago, it's the first time he wore a new shirt i bought him"

Makima proudly showed the photo on her phone to her sisters, all of them looking at it with varying degrees of interest

"Wow control, i'm so jealous, I wish I could buy my boyfriend things like that"

"Do you not fami?"

The famine devil avoided her sister's eyes with an awkward smile on her face

"W-well mostly not, i don't really have enough money f-for things like this...e-even when he buys me stuff"

Fami lowered her head in shame and yoru, clearly feeling inferior to her older sister, decided to speak up next

"Don't feel bad famine, control is just trying to make us feel bad, we're not super rich like you y'know?"

"Yes I am aware but I still think giving your significant other some gifts sometimes is a great way to show your love"

"....I always give him some of the food we have"

"Oh you buy him dinner, that's nice"

".....no he buys it...but i give him some of the food I don't eat"

".....so...you don't pay for much i take it"

"Stop looking down on us! We don't all have a black card and can spoil our boyfriend whenever we feel like it!"

"Sorry if it seemed like that but I wasn't trying to look down on you at all, It's totally understandable especially since you're all still in high school, speaking of what are you planning to do after you graduate?"

"Hell if i know, asa will do whatever boring job she wants, she's the one who has to choose so I don't really care"

They then turned towards death who was still finishing chewing on some food

".....am I supposed to get one? I have survived for thousands of centuries without getting a job"

"Well i guess you're not forced to get one, but don't you think leaving your boyfriend to pay for everything is a bit....unhelpful? Especially when he has to maintain your.... apetite"

"......I never thought about it like that, I should talk about it with him"

Before everyone could ask fami she had already started crying heavily

"WAAAAHHHH!!! HOW DID I NEVER NOTICED THAT!! WAAAHHHH!!!"

"H-he probably thinks i-i'm *sniffle* nothing but a leech who does nothing and m-makes him spend his money on me! Wahhhh i'm so useless!"

"Please sister stop crying, if you need any advice for things like this then come to me"

"...I...don't think devil hunting is the right job for you fami...then again you and kobeni would probably get along pretty well"
