I really love her design and her calm and mysterious personality, and I like the detail of her head is often tilted to her left is depicted a h@nging c0rpse ( she's the death devil after all, and she often appears on the edge of buildings and high places as if she's to just off )

And because she's so silly and love eating food ✨️

from a biblical standpoint, the purpose of the four horsemen are to highlight the four concepts that will lead to the downfall of society. they are the embodiment of collective failures that deteriorate society over time. in contrast, the 7 deadly sins are more about personal shortcomings.

fujimoto takes this idea of social downfalls and turns them into these powerful devils with strong ideals and beliefs. they all one common thread however that distinguishes them from the other devils and that is their relationship towards humans. while most devils dont give a rat's ass about humans the four horsemen are deeply invested in humanity. they all care and are actually interested in using their abilities to aid and progress society. of course, yoru is the except as her passion for humans runs in the complete opposite direction but it is still there.

with that in mind, i want to talk about the four horsemen, alturism and leftism. i find that they each embody certain attitudes and ideologies that a lot of leftist or left leaning individuals have that greatly compromise the success of the movement. while i am focusing on leftism, this applies to all movements in general, including right wing movements (granted these tend to produce more successful results). like i said, the four horsemen are commentary on society and community. they represent the things that lead to collective failure.
