more thoughts on author/english teacher mike wheeler
he goes by byers as a teacher and wheeler on his books. the only reason anyone knows he is a decorated author is cause 1. bookworm kids made a faint connection via the 30 year old picture for the about the author that was taken when he was still in high school and 2. the occasional public appearance he makes in regards to his books or the supposed movie thats coming out
his tumblr account is on the school’s senior scav. its super easy, just his name, but it trips most everyone up cause it is themichaeljwheeler (shout out spiderwill the only people who gave mike a middle name) and students both forget he goes by wheeler for writing and dont know his full name to any capacity
sometimes he gets asks on tumblr from students who had just happened to follow him for a while asking about home work/projects or other things to that capacity and he either lies or tells them exactly whats up
most students dont know he is married/dont know he is gay and it always throws people off when he does gush about will considering how little it happens
How I roll: I dropped some potato chips on the floor in the hallway and accidentally stepped on them. I didn’t feel like looking for a broom and dustpan and I didn’t want to waste a paper towel, so I pressed my hand firmly onto the chip fragments so that some remained stuck to my palm when I lifted it.
I then walked into the kitchen and wiped my hand off in the trash. I walked back into the hallway, pressed my hand to the broken chips, and went again to the kitchen to scrape them off into the garbage. I repeated this procedure several times, using my fingers for the very last crumbs, until at last the floor was clean.
Time elapsed: 12 minutes. Estimated time if I had just used a broom and dustpan: 4 seconds.
