Guys I'm on episode episode 6. Louie and lestat are giving off couple vibes. As. Friends. There was literally a part where they stopped at a light. Lestat's fans see them, and louie encourages him to interact with them. Because they're geeking out at the car. When lestat rolls down the window and starts singing to them..that moment felt like they were just humans. On a date night, that stumble onto fans out and about.
I already know this is that ep. where louie finds out about a huge thing he never knew. I just don't know the exact start of that conversation.
Lestat going through a breakdown is excellent. It's not sensationalized, glamorized, or brushed over.
This is an immortal man who has had traumatizing things happen. And he shoves it down. Because that's his coping mechanism.
Then we've got louie. He's paying a woman that looks like Claudia. To act out things. He has shoved down his grief for years. His brothers death, being turned into a vampire, and he keeps trying to have families. But something always happens.
Both of them need help. But I think there traumas make that so hard for them to reach out. That's what struggling with a mental illness is.
