I agree with all of this. Jon & Dany is super lame and there’s zero chemistry there for me. Arya wearing Jamie’s face would be kind of dumb. Jaime doing the deed himself would be awesome. I’d love Jamie & Brienne to have a happy ending, & Sansa too. There’s just so many directions it could all go.
I haven’t read the last book since it came out FOREVER AGO *curses george r r martin* so I’m struggling to remember the finer points. Did Tyrion even meet Dany yet? All I can remember is him having to perform with other little people and that girl following him around.
Glad to read we’re mostly on the same wavelength ;) and I definitely agree that Sansa also deserves some happiness after all the shit she had to go through. I’m really interested to see how the power play between Sansa/Dany/Cersei turns out in the end. It’s great to see how far Sansa has come since the first season
I also don’t remember all the details in ADWD, but I seem to recall that the Tyrion in that part of the story is a far-cry from the witty, happy-go-lucky fan favourite everyone makes him out to be (that arc is pretty much absent from the show). He’s basically a vengeful loose projectile at that point. So... either he just sinks deeper into the pit of vengance and despair, or he manages to crawl out again. Maybe, just maybe we’ll find out some day how the story continues... ;) I still have a little hope that after the S8 finale we’ll get the news that TWOW will be released not too long for now, but we can only dream.. :P
