Other Pink and Blue crossover dynamics I think would be neat based on how interesting Yanagi x Maekawa and Hayashi x Shishikura ended up being:
Hiroaki and Tei. I’ve mentioned this before, but what if Tei dated a rich guy his own age instead of creepy old men? It’s a win for Hiroaki since Tei comes off feminine enough to be perceived as a girl, and Hiroaki is more than willing to pay Tei for working with him. World’s slowest slow burn as they both realize they’re in love with one another.
Hasegawa and Mattias. Mattias would think Hasegawa is the coolest and smartest person he’s ever met. You know enough to go on quiz shows, and you win them all the time? That’s amazing! I think Hasegawa would be incredibly flustered but I think he would also find Mattias very cute.
Ogura and Okazaki. Not quite sure how the exact dynamic would work out, I just think putting the two most eccentric people from both casts together would be fun. Maybe Ogura would play up being a force of good so Okazaki could be extra evil (but I think Okazaki would usually let Ogura win).
Harada and Denden. I think she would be absolutely endeared by the tiger, and I have no basis to make this claim but I think she’s exactly Harada’s type. I think they could be cute together.
Wada and Akiba. Think Wada X Hama but with even more yaoi. I think Akiba could absolutely sweep Wada off his feet and would absolutely treat him like a king, while also not being afraid to call out Wada for not eating like he should be. I think he would introduce Wada to protein shakes so he’s at least getting something in his system even if he can’t bring himself to eat something (also, no shaming safe foods cause you better bet Akiba wasn’t eating farm fresh every day in his van. If Wada’s safe food is weird microwave chicken then so be it, at least he’s eating something).
Nishiguchi and Tamba. I think Nishiguchi would be so good for Tamba. She’s got the same presence Hayashi does but Nishiguchi isn’t taking anyone’s shit. She would be the first, second, and third person to tell off Tamba when she gets all worked up and starts yelling at people. This is of course, hinging on Tamba not pissing off Nishiguchi to the point that she leaves because that gymnast is stubborn as hell when it comes to being annoying.
Kamimura and Hirose. Enemies to lovers. I think Kamimura would hate Hirose in the beginning because Hirose is so insistent on trying to help him when Kamimura doesn’t want to be helped (think Hama mentioning the wheelchair in the med bay but even more insistent). Then I like to think something happened that makes Kamimura need more care and he’s pushed others away so much that the only one still willing to help is Hirose.
Tsuno and Yaitabashi. If anyone thinks Yaitabashi can do whatever he wants despite his disability, it’s Tsuno. I think she would take Nishiguchi’s offer to help him build his terrariums and amplify that tenfold, getting to work right away while Yaitabashi still has enough sight to see what she’s working on because she knows time can be short. Meanwhile Yaitabashi pushes even harder for Tsuno to take time for herself, because even if she is fully capable now, she won’t be fully capable if she doesn’t let herself rest and instead continues to deteriorate. I think Yaitabashi would lie about not sleeping well without her to get her to stay in one place long enough that she can fall asleep.
Sasaki and Ruka. Rivals academically but best friends who eventually become lovers. That’s really all I have to say for them, it’s kinda self explanatory. I think Ruka is able to break through Sasaki’s shell by bothering her insistantly, and I think Sasaki might be a little jealous of how good Ruka is with people.
Ojima and Ikeda. In my personal headcanon, they’re cousins, not that Ojima knows that. Ikeda picked up art forgery because he wanted to prove that he could be better than Ojima, so it’s really just a one sided rivalry.
Ouno and Chiba. I think Ouno would see her daughter in Chiba without a doubt, and I think that would keep Ouno from killing at least for a little while. As far as their dynamic goes I don’t think Chiba would actually like Ouno that much. Ouno probably sees her as a child while Chiba is trying her hardest to be seen as an adult.
Watari and Ninomiya. He absolutely reminds her of one of her younger brothers and I think their energy matches really well. They probably get into petty squabbles constantly but at the end of the day I think they’d be best friends.
Kumada and Hama. The one man I think could knock some sense into Kumada because she is just an angrier and more volatile Chiba. This man has no shame grabbing her by the collar and pulling her away from any sticky situations she gets herself into. Hama wouldn’t be afraid to talk back to Kumada, and maybe with enough of that, combined with his stubborn persistence in sticking around her even after she yells at him, I think that would do her some good.
Isono and Isoda. I don’t really know, they were the last two left… marriage for tax purposes. They go on Isono’s streams and pretend to be super lovey dovey and giggle about it as soon as the cameras are off.
