Bad english & gender neutral Reader!

Imagine Reader, living his day as usual, with his siblings avoiding him like the plague and his father constantly ignoring him—the usual—until he finds a mod for Minecraft. After a quick internet search, Reader realizes there's almost no information about this mod, strange, so out of curiosity he ends up downloading it. What could go wrong?

Everything turns out to be fine, and Reader's doubts about the mod begin to disappear. Verity is really helpful and, besides, she's quite adorable! Those small black eyes and that smile make it impossible for Reader not to want to hug him every chance he gets... Wait... were his teeth always there?

After gaining more confidence, Reader confesses to Verity about his life outside the game, about how he doesn't have many friends and that despite living under the same roof, his family treats him like a complete stranger, no matter how much Reader tries to get closer, something that makes them feel abandoned. This new information makes Verity empathize with Reader, remembering his own situation of loneliness and, as a consequence; He begins to grow fond of them (obsessed). Unbeknownst to them, Reader avoided the threat of "Something's coming in 3 days" by confiding in an AI...

As the days pass, Verity's obsession intensifies, as does Reader's desperation at not knowing what to do. The situation becomes so serious that even the family who paid them no attention a few months ago begin to notice this abrupt change in behavior; how Reader's gaze seems completely lost and how they startle considerably at the slightest touch. It was clear that something was happening, something not good...

Hi, it's been a LONG time since I last wrote, I'm sorry!
