Just a rant.
So, let me start with this.
LGBTQIA+ (not all!):
Cishets - Referring to anyone that identifies as their sex and likes the opposing sex.
âCishets are scum.â
âDOWN WITH CIS!â
âCis people are such homophobes and canât accept anything!â
âStraight people donât understand us! They constantly misgender me!â
âHE JUST MISGENDERED ME LIKE WTF???â
âUm, did he just assume my gender???â
âWhy are cishets so ignorantâ
Etc.
+ Now kids, I love all of you dearly, no matter who you are...but this is very wrong! Hating on straight/cishets is very much like homophobia but backwards. Not all cishets are bad. Itâs like what we have to tell people not in the LGBTQIA+ community; not all gay (umbrella term) people are bad! Using the term âcishetâ is kind of concerning as it is, but using it as a derogatory term is just as bad as them calling us fags. Of course you can use it as a short way to say; âThey arenât LGBTQIA+, but support us.â But using it to 1) identify ALL people who arenât LGBTQIA+ and 2) identify homophobes is wrong! Again, using it to identify people who are cisgender and heterosexual BUT SUPPORT LGBTQIA+ is fine! I think a better term for people of the same gender and sexuality BUT DO NOT SUPPORT US should be homophobes as usual. Also, donât expect people to get your pronouns right on the first try! For some people, this concept is VERY new and can be hard to swallow. If they misgender you, simply tell them, âOh, sorry to bother, but I use [insert pronouns]!â Most will understand, and if they donât, then you can always ignore it because theyâre either extremely old or just being a dick. If the problem persists, you may have a VERY in depth talk with them about why using the incorrect pronouns bothers you! And to those of you with neopronouns: while I myself donât understand it, Iâm sure other people do, so lightly bring it up in a conversation to get someoneâs views on it. If they are unaccepting, you may use default pronouns to your liking! I have an internet friend who uses ze/hir pronouns and very commonly tells people that ze uses they/them pronouns. Itâs not too bad to go out of your comfort zone so you can help eliminate the discrimination against us! Also, religion isnât just Christianity, and not all religions hate us. I, for one, actually do have a religion, and one that is non-discriminatory (despite the fact I shitpost about a lot of things. Iâm trying to change it, thatâs just me personally tbh).
Anti-LGBT:
âAll gays are SJW scumâ
âDude his pronouns arenât even real lolâ
âThat gender is fakeâ
âIt goes against the bible!â
âScience says otherwiseâ
âGays are dumb, like, there arenât more than 2 gendersâ
âThere are only 2 genders!â
Etc.
+ So I understand the frustration, guys and gals. This is a very new concept, and those of you who are against it for religious purposes, youâre fine. But we all ask that you still respect our pronouns, gender, sexuality, etc. Even though weâre not heteronorm, weâre still just as human as you are. If youâre getting loads of shit from someone about you misgendering them on accident etc., just explain. And again, be respectful! 7/10 weâll be respectful back, accounting that all of us are working together to help you all understand us better. Speaking of, let us get to know you! Tell us about your religion/beliefs etc., it may help you if we can debunk rumors/myths about our community! Plus we love sharing our stories about how we came out, why weâre this way, so on so forth. And itâs one step closer to getting better understandings of one another so that eventually, we can put all differences aside and work together as humans to progress as a specie. For those of you who are more tolerant and/or are willing to accept us, feel free to start by popping the question all of us love to hear; âWhat are your pronouns?â Donât understand it? Ask! Donât think you like it? Thatâs okay, I understand that not everyone is so accepting the first time around. Once you get used to it, you may be surprised at how natural it seems. If not, then again, itâs fine. We arenât going to force you to love us for our differences.
Feminists (UMBRELLA TERM, NOT AT ALL MEANT FOR ALL OF YOU!):
âMen are rapists!â
âMen are disgusting pigs!â
Golly neds this hurts.
âMen are ignorant.â
âLET US FREE OUR NIPPLES!â
âThis character is oversexualized! Redesign her so sheâs not so fetishy!âÂ
âFTM ARE GOING AGAINST WOMEN TO BECOME PIGS!â
âMTF ARE JUST CREEPY MEN TRYING TO GET INTO WOMENâS RESTROOMS!â
Etc...
+ I respect your cause. I donât respect what you say. First; not all men are rapists. If a man simply asks a woman for something, donât assume itâs rape, donât assume shit other than heâs asking her to get him something. If he is rude and being very chauvinist (new terminology for me, sorry if I used that wrong), then step in! Like I said, not all men are rapists, murderers, liars, pigs, etc. Theyâre just as human as you are, and some are even fighting for your rights! Secondly; I would LOVE to let you guys go around without your shirts, but honestly, I dunno if I could handle it. While yeah, theyâre just nipples on large (or small) balls of squishy skin, they are also very sacred for some of us. For me, they are very sacred to a womanâs body; thatâs how you feed our children, itâs just like the nipples on an animal's body. They use it to feed their kids, we use ours to feed our own. Not that I find them sexual, I just think that flaunting around something sacred like that is just...displeasing. I mean, I feel the same for men, I donât like looking or thinking about men with their shirts off, their bodies are theirs to look at, not ours. Anyways. Character designs. Theyâre fictional? And if men seriously look at you ladies that way then...gross? Thatâs very unrealistic tbh and Iâd hope that everyone with a brain knows that the beauty thatâs flaunted in videogames is VERY rare to achieve in real life naturally. If men actually think that videogame girls are an actual representation of women then...wow. Not sure how low their IQ is, but itâs low. And no, FtM/MtF transgenders are not any different than you. I mean, a man wanting to be a woman? Shouldnât you be happy? Sheâs on your side, sheâs representing you. All she wants to do is be like you. And a woman wanting to be a man? I mean...some of us understand what itâs like to be a woman. To an extent. I donât know really what itâs like, but I get these few things: periods, men constantly staring at your boobies (before I got a chestbinder this was a problem for me), guys hitting on you, guys thinking theyâre better than you...etc. But honestly, most of us transguys donât think that men override women because of...fuck, anything. I mean, sure men have done a lot in the past, but now women have the same rights as us and have been doing more lately than men. And thereâs this; you ladies carry babies. You can home another human being inside of your own body, then push it out of another one of your sacred parts, your vagina. Some of you risk completely tearing your vagina to bring life into this world. and I agree, the way some men treat you is terrible. And I do agree, some of you deserve more respect from said men than what you get. But realize that not every man will torment you because he thinks youâre weaker, because he thinks that since heâs a man he has more rights, because he blablabla. There are so many reasons that I canât come up with because...shit man. Anyways, back to transgirls/boys. Transgirls arenât all creeps who want into the womenâs restroom. They just genuinely want to be a woman, like you. And maybe thatâs not the case for some, but it is for most. All you can do is say, âcool.â I mean, thereâs not much to it, some guys wanna be girls and some girls wanna be guys, doesnât mean that theyâre all anti-womenâs rights and/or chauvinist pigs just wanting to fuck. I know this was much longer than the other two, but I feel more strongly about this than I do the other two. But I will add more on to all of them as I go along, and anyone else can add on as well.
Writing a character whoâs super power is kindness. Sounds cliche but guys itâs not passive kindness. Writing this character who has experienced so much cruelty and loss and loathes the person they see themself as but is still overflowing with kindness. This character who has HUGE trust issues but forces themself to chose faith in those around them instead of driving them away with suspicion and isolation. Writing this character believing in giving everyone the right to health, community, respect, and dignity on top of their rights to food, housing, and education. Writing them refusing to participate in shaming, gender roles, or hazing, writing them determinedly set an example to what we are owed as social creatures and what you must pay when you destroy community. Unconditional kindness does not mean you are passive, it does mean you give unlimited chances for abusers to change, it doesnât mean you are willing to sacrifice yourself. Kindness creates lasting peace, not endless compromise.

How to Create a Lasting Peace and Save the World in One Simple Step (part 1 of 2)
That is the working title of an essay I am currently writing. Not that anyone cares(yet). It will be short, and the plan is to give it away for free on Amazon as a preface to other things that Iâm working on. Itâs almost done, just need to get the next domino or two set up so that they can drop at the same time.
