Hands down, zero hesitation--it’s MANGO STICKY RICE. Ugh. I’m swooning just thinking about it. Creamy and coconutty and juicy and tangy and... oh man, do I need to order Thai, now?

Spring Green: How do you relax when you’re stressed?

I don’t 😅 although I’m trying to follow some advice that my dearest Dibs @gotnofucks gave me, which is to take a small break whenever I feel overwhelmed and continue once I’m calmer. It works quite well :)

Cotton Candy: What is your favorite dessert?

It probably has an actual name, but my friends and I call it grape dessert and it’s this cookies, joghurt-cream, grape thing which is so delicious

Electric Lime: What genre of music do you listen to?

Mostly pop and soft rock, but sometimes I listen to some nice German songs that I remember from my childhood

mountain meadow — worst date experience?

LOL, went on a date with a guy to watch a movie and grab dinner after. Guy spoke through out the entire movie - not loud enough to annoy people around us, but loud enough to annoy me. Then at dinner, his ex and her new boyfriend walk into the restaurant we’re in and the guy I’m on the date with calls her over and they end up joining us and it becomes a fucking awkward double date. And then my dude ends up leaving with his ex after “going to the bathroom” and her boyfriend asks me if I want to go grab a drink with him.... 

Better yet, the guy who ditched me messaged me a week later asking if I wanted to hang out again..... 

Shocking Pink: Is there a trait that you have that others don’t expect from you? probably my rather dirty sense of humour - i win a lot of CAH when I play to the surprise of all and sundry.

Honestly? Bargaining with myself about what I can do to goof off after. “If I do these expense reports, I can read this interesting article after!” It doesn’t always work - sometimes I read the article anyway even if I haven’t done the thing yet - but it’s a decent method. 

Glossy Grape: Recommend something to your followers.

Oh man! If y’all like wholesome reality competition shows in the vein of the Great British Bake-Off, you need to watch Making It. It’s hosted by Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler, and the competitors are people who all specialize in different crafty pursuits and they do really neat challenges. It’s so good and heartwarming. 

Periwinkle: What’s something ordinary that has personal meaning to you?

I had to think about this one a while, and I’m a little self conscious about the answer I came up with, but, it’s Xy Fri so LETS DO THIS!

I feel like this year I’ve been seeing butterflies everywhere, to the point that I’m considering a butterfly tattoo.  My song for the year is Rise and I feel like butterflies fit the message, so each time I see one, it makes me think of my song, which makes me think of my personal goals.  Some of those I’m doing better with than others, but I will finish the year having ‘risen’ in at least a few ways over the course of it, and that is a Good Thing.

Purple Mountains Majesty: How does someone earn your respect?

Show me that you’re honest, have integrity, and aren’t a dick to other people. I honestly don’t feel like I have high standards, but the best way to blow it with me is to be needlessly mean to others. Think ‘ship and let ship’ only apply it to life, you know?

Summer or Winter? :  WINTER.  W-I-N-T-E-R.  WINTER!

Listen: I live in Florida.  Before that, I lived in Northern Virginia.  I miss having more than two seasons. I miss having more than two weeks where I require long-sleeves and possibly a jacket.  I hate heat and I hate bugs.  Where do I move?  Hot Buglandia.
