Ingredients: 1 lb lump crab meat. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1 small onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 red bell pepper, diced. 1 cup corn kernels. 4 cups seafood or chicken broth. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/4 tsp smoked paprika. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped parsley for garnish.
Instructions: In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Saut until softened. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, for about 2 minutes. Slowly pour in broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Add corn kernels, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
