I've gotten my first like "hate" I guess and boy howdy does that feel bad. My free comic book day Harley was reblogged by a "cringeharleycosplay" blog. You have to wonder who enjoys devaluing people like that. I was really proud of all that I put into that costume, even the last minute kid friendly shorts. It's really bummed me out.
So I just checked my cosplay Tumblr to find these... This is why people harm themselves. This is why people have depression. This is why people commit suicide. Thanks for ruining my good day, as whole. Next time, have the balls to leave your name instead of hiding behind the anon.

Today I’m bringing you guys a video that to me was very important to film. More and more often when young (or just beginner) cosplayers come up to me, they talk about their fears of the judgement they will receive from cosplaying. Which is terrible to hear. No one should be afraid to participate in their hobby because of judgement, especially from within the community.
Today we talk about whether or not cosplay craftsmanship matters and how to deal with cosplay hate.

I have never felt anymore truth in this video! Please reblog and keep this going. People need to hear this! Everyone should be able to cosplay if they want, no matter who they are, their body type, race, anything. Cosplay whoever you want!!! The sky is your limit (or your bank account hahaha). Just remember You are always beautiful!!! Now go out there and cosplay the FUCK out of whoever you’ve dreamed to. Also, nothing truer than her one statement. Do not get mad if someone cosplays the same person you want to cosplay. But do always be respectful!!! You are not that character or the only person that can do that character, ever, in your friend group or whatever. Encourage one another and work together! Just have fun!
No matter what I post, she always has something nasty to say. Each cosplay I've posted to to the forum of Maria she makes her comments. She hated me from the start because of my ass hanging out in booty shirts and since then has harassed me ever since. You can hate all you want but I respect myself so much that I won't let you put me down. *there's a crap ton to this, I just don't have the time to screen shot it all * Maybe one day she won't be such a mean spirited, ugly hearted girl.
