I just realized something that might be an unintentional pun in the first Tron movie. At several points Sark refers to the Programs on the Game Grid as "conscripts". The word "script" apparently has a few different meanings when it comes to computers, but one definition I found says that it can mean "a program or sequence of instructions that is interpreted or carried out by another program rather than by the computer processor (as a compiled program is)."
This could mean that Sark calling Programs "(con)scripts" indicates that he views them as soldiers or slaves, that they should be following his orders. They should be part of the Master Control Program rather than run independently.
doing some housekeeping in the lexicon today
notating CVC glyph usage for existing entries so i can do a frequency analysis and maintain phonetic diversity going forward (since i tend to reuse the same sounds)
weeding out lingering 1st draft entries that are no longer viable given current phonotactics
reconciling conflicting entries (realized i have three different words for health, with no clear distinction)
i have almost 900 entries in the lexicon now and am about 75%? done with glyph creation
The army conscripts, a farewell party
"You will come back [from the war] as men!" 🤡
Russian conscripts are sent to Russia's Belgorod region.
they are kids and they are all going to die within weeks of arriving at the front 🤌

Argent Conscripts Three out of four
Les Marie-Louise by Jacques Onfroy de Bréville
The life and death of Korba, aka Conscript GF, during her isekai time in the Half Life 2 Beta universe.
For a longer time I was obsessed with what I call "dabeta", and I knew of it for even longer too. My passion didn't not fade away either, but I am less inclined to talk about it, knowing full well how I tend to bomb people with ramblings and aesthetics and "it was so dark and gritty, man!!!"
So, for a time, I would draw and put my Korba in various situations within the world. The general premise was that she would meet my other original character named Hecktor, who was a very gay very burly HECU soldier with a very specific speech impediment (talking like a HL1 HECU, stringed sound files and everything).
The two would join the Conscripts on the basis of Hecktor being in the actual military, and actually beinh black in Back Mesa (he got isekai'd by a Vortigaunt), while Korba lied about being in a military of sorts :) proved herself with her skills anyways so thats good.
THE two had non-specific roles in the Conscripts, went on some courier missions, met interesting people, and Korba even got to participate in some good ole marketing!
They would perish while tagging along with Freeman and Alyx through the late game of da beta, holding down a gate for the protagonists to pass through :( and have found themselves a long time later in the irl :D
