Two posts, one for the Townhill Park area, and one for Harefield.
These are 6 month fixed term posts, commencing spring 2012, subject to the confirmation
of funding from the ‘Big Local’.

- Would you like to encourage residents to get involved in their local community?
Townhill Park post (this neighbourhood includes Meggeson Avenue, MacArthur Crescent,
Vanguard Road and Hood Road areas): 10 hours per week (flexible hours).
The post holder will be employed by TWICS (Training for Work in Communities).
Harefield post (Harefield Estate, around Woodlands school area): 6 hours per week (flexible
hours). The post holder will be employed by Southampton Voluntary Services.
Rate of pay: £8 per hour.
Opportunities may be available to take up relevant training.
Big Local is a 10 year funding programme from the Big Lottery and managed through the Local
Trust, specifically to support local people to help make Townhill Park and Harefield better places
in which to live.
