Very simple rules: connect 5 squares in a line by completing the task in each square
Very simple goals: encourage readers to comment on fics; encourage fandom writers to KEEP WRITING
STEPS:
Download Bingo Card HERE (png) or HERE (jpg) or HERE (pdf)
Complete the tasks on the card, marking off each as you go, until you've completed 5 in a line (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal; NO double-dipping; kudos ā„ļø is a free space)
REBLOG/POST your winning card (or list your filled squares) and tag @feedthefandomfest! Glory in your victory.
PROPOSED REWARD:
Bingo Badge!
@ihni and I thought it'd be fun to receive something commemorating a win (who gets bingo first isn't the pointāALL BINGOS are wins), in which case, there could be different tiers of achievement:
Bingo Badge (one line filled)
Double Bingo Badge (two lines filled)
ELITE Bingo Badge?? (ALL squares filledāfor the ambitious, or at least for @ihni who will prob eat this card for breakfast)
I can make a badge with my limited Canva skills, but we thought it'd be cool if fandom artists came up with different designs? So if any artists wanna contribute, let me know.
If enough people are into this, I'm open to planning a more organized event, but figured this would be fun to try out for now.
Anya is live and ready to show you everything. Watch her strip, dance, and perform exclusive shows just for you. Interact in real-time and make your fantasies come true.

Itās time for a good old fashioned summer reading challenge and what could be a better excuse to share our love for all the wonderful fanworks in the Benoit Blanc Mysteries fandom?
This activity aims to lift up the wonderful creators in the Benoit Blanc Mysteries Universe and build community by challenging participants to seek out fanworks of all kinds and leave comments that recognize their work. We also hope that it might make commenting feel less intimidating to anyone who might find it to be so. So, come on ināthe waterās fine!
The event will run from June 1st - September 1st ā let's get to commenting!
ABOUT | FAQ | RULES
Instructions for getting and filling out your bingo cards are below the cut, as well as in the FAQ!
š² Getting your bingo sheet š²
There are 85 cards total broken up into six categories: Wild Card, Knives Out, Glass Onion, Wake Up Dead Man, NSFW, and Angst.
TheĀ WildĀ cardsĀ (Cards 1-15)Ā include general prompts, prompts specific to any of the three films, and some mild mature/angst prompts.Ā
TheĀ Knives OutĀ cardsĀ (Cards 16-30)Ā include general prompts and prompts specific to Knives Out. You may or may not get one prompt to check out something from another film!
TheĀ Glass OnionĀ cardsĀ (Cards 31-45)Ā include general prompts and prompts specific to Glass Onion. You may or may not get one prompt to check out something from another film!
TheĀ Wake Up Dead ManĀ cardsĀ (Cards 46-65)Ā include general prompts and prompts specific to WUDM. You may or may not get one prompt to check out something from another film!
TheĀ NSFWĀ cardsĀ (Cards 66-75)Ā include general promptsĀ andĀ NSFW prompts, not exclusively NSFW prompts.
TheĀ AngstĀ cardsĀ (Cards 76-85)Ā include general promptsĀ andĀ Angst prompts, not exclusively Angst prompts.
Getting your bingo card:
Use aĀ random number generatorĀ and roll for a number (either 1-85 if you want to get wild, or you can specify the listed ranges if you want a card from a specific category).
Open theĀ bingo sheet google drive folderĀ and select the card corresponding to the number you rolled.
āļø Filling out your bingo sheet āļø
Each box on the bingo sheet is a prompt for either a type of work you should leave a comment on (i.e. āfic with <1000 wordsā), or a type of comment (āask a questionā). When youāve completed the prompt, cross out the box.
One comment fulfills one box. So, if you leave a comment asking a question on a āfic with <1000 words,ā this comment can count for either āask a question" OR ā<1000 words,ā but NOT both.
A ācommentā to fulfill a bingo box can be: A comment on AO3 or a reblog on tumblr with a comment in the tags or text box (for fic/art posted to tumblr). There is no length requirement on a commentāeven something as simple as ālove this!ā counts as a fill.
š Participating in the hype train š
You are encouraged to make posts that share recs and fanworks as you work on your bingo sheet. If you get a ābingoā (5 boxes on the bingo sheet in a row) or āblackoutā (all the boxes filled), you can make a post showing us! If you @ us, weāll reblog the evidence of your amazing success. Weād love to see the titles or links to the fics and fanworks you commented on!
You are also encouraged to comment on, add to, and share posts about the event! Help your friends hunt down or discover fanworks they might like. The event tag is #benoit blanc bingo, so have at it!
We listened to your input, and so we're doing things a little differently this month! Notable changes:
Timing: Instead of doing this for a whole month and doing it every other month, this will only last a week, and we will run it every month. Also, we will begin the challenge during the Fishing For Treasures weekend, with squares specifically designed to go along with that month's theme!
Simplified submission form: We have cut back the submission form so it's easier for you to complete!
Bonus group goal: If we get a total of 8 submissions across all participants (for a total of 32 comments left on fics), then we will reblog one fic per submission chosen by each participant. This fic does not have to be one of the stories commented on for the bingo. It can be your own fic, or a friend's fic, or just your favorite fic! The only requirement is that it's SPN and you love it!
That's all the changes, so here are the new and improved complete instructions for how to participate!
Comments uplift and inspire authors while letting them know exactly how much all their hard work means to us! In this event, the Pond really wants to encourage our readers to interact with our wonderful writers by leaving meaningful comments on their work. This bingoās purpose is to give our writers a smile and help readers get into the habit of commenting on Supernatural fanfiction, no matter what platform it is posted on. So get your fingers ready to type some compliments and show our writers how much we appreciate them and the stories they share!
How it Works
Bingo rounds will last one week and happen every month, starting on the third Saturday and ending on the fourth Saturday.
Comments must be left on Supernatural fanfic that match the current round's bingo card. Each story can be used to fill one square.
Comments should be positive and story-focused. They can be short and uplifting, or a detailed love fest.
In order to be eligible for prizes, participants must submit their comments - forming a bingo line - via this form.
Each submission gives the participants a special role in the Pond's server: Koi Fish.
Each participant is allowed up to FOUR submissions, equaling four entries in the drawing for the big prize.
The winner can request a prize from the Pondās prize list.Ā
Bonus Group Goal: If we get eight (8) TOTAL submissions overall (two people each submit four times, or four people each submit two times, etc), then the Pond will reblog one fic per submission chosen by each participant. This fic does not have to be one of the stories commented on for the bingo. It can be your own fic, or a friend's fic, or just your favorite fic! The only requirement is that it's SPN and you love it!
What to do if you canāt find any fics to comment on? The fic recs channel in the Pond is a great place to ask for a recommendation! Let the Pond know what square youāre having trouble with, and weāll all work together to help.Ā Also, we're timing this challenge to happen at the same time as Fishing For Treasures, and there are three squares (plus the free space) that are specific to the FFT theme for this month. Check out the Pond's blog to find fics that qualify!
Is this a competition? Nope! This event is all about uplifting our fandom community and being the engagement we wish to see in it.Ā
I want to participate. How do I become a member? Check out how to become a member here.
I heard something about a drawing? Yes! You can submit the form up to four times and receive an entry into our monthly drawing for fabulous prizes! Click here to see the entire list of available prizes.
Does the writer of the fic Iām using for a square need to be a member? Nope! The fic just needs to be SPN or Winchesters!
Does the fic have to be from this month? Nope! Any SPN fic, no matter how old, is eligible!
Is there a limit to how many bingos I can submit for a ticket? Yes, each participant can have a maximum of four entries to the Bingo Drawing, which means only 4 bingos willĀ count for the drawing. However, we encourage everyone to try for a coverall and spread more love to more authors out there. Spread the love!
What is the deadline to submit my Bingos? Ā Midnight Pacific time on the fourth Saturday of the month. (This month, that's the 27th.)
I have more questions. How do I get answers? You can send us an ASK here on the blog, or send a private message to Kaz ( @kazsrm67 ) or Michelle ( @mrswhozeewhatsis )!
for the murderbot diaries @comment-bingo 2025 event! i'm going to sort this into a few different categories and then link three of my favorite fics in each category.
incomplete chaptered fics
these fics might not be anywhere near complete right now, they might be slow to update or possibly even abandoned, but they struck something for me that cannot be undone whether they are completed or not
Warranty Claims by TheSteelChimera: an outsider POV fic from the perspective of a construct technician. starts off episodic and then catches plot! it has elements of fridge horror inherent in the dehumanization of constructs, and it's all about construct injuries, described in detail and often due to negligence, so keep that in mind if gore's a squick for you
Dis-Integrated by ramshackle_fey: ever wonder what life would be like as a human HubSystem? pretty terrible, it turns out! the amount of thought that went into the worldbuilding and characterization for this AU is fascinating and impressive, and i love this version of Three. this fic was introduced to me during one of the fic readalongs this august and it's now on my shortlist of podfics i would be actively working on if university wasn't eating me alive
A Lunar Sanctuary by CompletelyDifferent: a fascinating AU in which ART is a company gunship and murderbot "grew up" in preservation! i'm only on chapter 8 right now but it's fully hooked me. the parallels to canon are so subtle and well done, and it's really hard to stay true to a character in an AU where their backstory is so different but dragon's done a fantastic job!
fics that made me laugh
Kidnapped by sinemoras09: a delightful crack fic that has just the right amount of OOC absurdity. holism kidnaps one of ART's constructs and ART is Not Pleased about it
@ Perihelion: Fuck you ART by Sparrowlicious: mb and ART join Space Twitter and hijinks ensue!
I'm Making a Note Here... by circumference: ART decides to code a simulation of being drunk for itself and both hijinks and emotions ensue. fun fact: this was the first fic i read in the fandom, after reading ASR but before reading AC, and was thus my introduction to ART
heartwarming fics
What the cameras saw by hummus_tea: inebriated youths on Preservation are giving Three a hard time, and bot friends come to the rescue!
Fauna One by Avonya: a classic! pre-ASR mb befriends a cat and it's ADORABLE
A Stitch in Time Saves Nine by FigOwl: so many emotions in so few words! mending metaphors, atrocious sewing puns, ART and mb snarking at each other... this little fic truly has it all

Presto Bang-o by @r33sespieces
"I'm the Marvellous Mr. Lupin, here to dazzle with feats of magic you'll have to see to still not believe! Who's ready to have some fun?"
The magician visibly deflates as scattered, unenthusiastic applause sounds through the conference room. Sirius almost feels bad for the man. There are probably few jobs more bleak than providing entertainment for a corporate networking event where everybody just wants to get drunk at the lobby bar or go to their room for a luxurious hotel wank that won't get interrupted by their kids. It's sort of the man's own fault for taking the gig, though. Kids' parties probably have a much more enthusiastic audience. Maybe Sirius should get his card and hire him for Harry's birthday.

Clipped On You by @emperorem
After the C-Suite of James Potter, Sirius Black, and Marlene McKinnon assigns Remus a very boring work assignment, he decides to entertain himself by adding Clippy clip art, the once-upon-a-time Microsoft Office helper.
And really, the whole thing starts innocently enoughāhe swears it does.
But Remus stumbles across a surprising side of Clippy. Although in retrospect, it shouldnāt have been surprising. The internet truly has a little something for everyone.
And this little something is sexy Clippy.

When Sirius attends an event for his family's foundation, he decides to flout his mother's expectations by wearing his Highland suit rather than the tuxedo she provided. Remus is a fan of this decision and shows his appreciation accordingly.

Loop Inn (Or: The Motel of Requirement) by @shunstanpike
"Please, Remus," Sirius begged. "I don't want my fantasies to come true. I don't want to sleep with the monkeys or become a human garnish. I just want a functioning shower, a clean bed, and a strong cup of coffee in the morning. Is that too much to ask?"
"I can do that."
"Can you?!" Sirius's voice broke and he thought he might burst into tears. He didn't want to think about how long he'd been awake at this point.

Sirius Black and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Shirtless Curse by @astralsunshine
Sirius Black expected many things from his eighth year at Hogwarts after Voldemort was defeated. He did not, however, expect to be cursed to roam the castle completely shirtless, flaunting his visual assets to undeserving eyes.
The sight of a shirtless Sirius Black is, of course, one to beholdābut why won't Remus Lupin look at him?

Chocolate Cake by RealityShowJunky
āYes, Remus Lupin is gorgeous, smart, funny, and hands down the best lay Sirius has ever had. Sometimes, Sirius just canāt get enough of himāof his plump mouth or the sweetness that seems to radiate out of his pores. Heāll even admit that he does prefer Remusā company to anyone elseās ninety percent of the time. Butājust because your favorite dessert is chocolate cake doesnāt mean youāll never crave a cookie, right?ā
Rich frat bro Sirius Black has a great thing going until he doesnāt. In order to win back the hand of his true love, he must defeat interloping psych majors, settle old vendettas, and learn how to properly stuff a non-engagement ring in a piece of chocolate cake.

of elf-ears, movie marathons, and (un)requited feelings by @barkingatthemooninsteadofwriting
The thing is that Sirius has been a little bit in love with Remus since⦠forever.Ā
Maybe notĀ forever,Ā but he knows that one day in secondary school he looked at his best friend, the one that made the inside of his chest feel like a bruised peach and thought,Ā Oh. I think Iām in love with you.Ā He didnāt really know what love meant yet, or the difference between platonic love and familial love or the love that his parents claimed to hold for each other and their sons, but he felt it all the same, turning his entire teenage world upside down.Ā
It didnāt take very long for Sirius to realize, however, that Remus didnāt feel the same way about him in return.Ā

Sirius Loses Mario Kart by c1garettesfor_m00ny
Remus watched as Sirius downed a shot of tequila, a bit of the clear liquid sliding down the front of his throat and soaking into his extremely tight and extremely revealing black crop top. The top left nothing to the imagination, hugging just above where his sternum met the flat of his stomach.
Remus felt himself blush and looked away from Sirius, deciding that that was enough staring for one night. That would get him through the night just fine.
āIf youāre done staring, Iād like to play Mario Kart.ā Sirius rolled his eyes at the flushed look on Remusā face and grabbed his hand. He led him to the couch where he shoved him down and Remus just- let him.

And that's it! I managed a Bingo! š„³š„³š„³ @steddieexchange
I filled the final slot for 'New-to-You Tag" with the prompt "Fishing", which was one of the main plot lines of 'Live Bait' by @stevesjockstrap - it was such a fun read! šš
i got a bingo blackout! @comment-bingo please put "blessphemy" on the hall of fame. i did an "angst" themed bingo sheet but didn't end up reading a ton of angst haha
here's a list of what i commented on for each square:
Kidnapping: Boost The Signal by IHopedTheredBeStars - 8,398 words of an excellent little casefic. Rescue mission for some members of the Perihelion crew.
Free Space: extra-stellar bodies (artwork) by CNA, surgicalstainlelss - lovely art to go along with the fic "extra-stellar bodies," a Reverse Big Bang fanwork collaboration. Visualizes Murderbot and ART in the feed as ocean creatures.
Oneshot: Head Underwater by pizzazz_party, Polygeminus_grex - 2,403 words andanother Reverse Big Bang collaboration with both the fic and art together. This one got me. Hell yeah lets make the horrors of memory and mental health and destruction of discomfort and self identity into a metaphor made literal.
Character Death: One Regret by yyyyyyy_yyyyyy - 874 words and exploring Murderbot's last message in its last mission.
Gore/Violence: The student's home video by ESE (anoano) - 3,552 words and chilling. Great. Exploration of a consequence of the detached dehumanization of SecUnits.
Favorite Trope: considerable trouble and considerable joy by molecular_machine - 12,135 words. I was wonder what the heck my "favorite trope" was, and then I read this fic and realized. But of course. It's rogue units helping rogue units. The ComfortUnit formerly owned by Tlacey goes on a quest to find and free a fellow unit. This one has the grimness you'd expect from the subject matter but also has the certain charming energy of a meandering fairy tale journey.
Malware: Kill them. by i_have_loved_the_stars_too_fondly - 546 words, looks at the governor module. Exactly what you think.
Part Of A Series: child of mine/child of mine by Hypsidium - 987 words and straight up so touching. How Hypsidium managed to pack so much into less that 1000 words is beyond me. There is love and light and grief and growth. And humor. It's great.
Fighting Ring: SecUnit Enrichment Program (Now Hiring) by outlander_unknown - 10,211 words and an unfinished fic, but amazing stuff. I featured this one on my OC Fanfic Rec List, truly a delight.
POV Outsider: Background Radiation by lyricwritesprose - 17,820 words. Another fantastic OC fic from my rec list, lovely, had me staying up later than I meant to to finish reading it.
Ask A Question: Old Unit, Young Unit by i_have_loved_the_stars_too_fondly - 14,245 words. Original characters. This is one that I started a while ago but hadn't finished until now. Has my classic fave trope of "units helping units."
Action/Adventure: Criterion Undefined by wyrvel - 10,211 words so far and still ongoing. So. I started reading a bunch of Original Character fics because I had the idea of writing a themed fic rec list. And wouldn't you know it I kept running into bangers.
Comic: [Comic] Binary System by HermesDay - Really cool comic, the origin of Perihelion's name, and a future rendition of the tale of Icarus.
Missing Scene: Local Network (pod together!) by blackglass, the leakypen - a Pod Together podfic accompanying the fic "Local Network". Great fic by theleakypen, great podfic from blackglass, exploring what might've been going on while Murderbot was out of it during its rebuild in Exit Strategy.
Meta: look an enslaved sapient alexa with a gun cannot meaningfully provide security by vashti_lives - 711 words examining the existence of SecUnits and their true purpose.
Pre-Canon: [Filk] After Ganaka by TSDefiance - a filk for the aftermath of Ganaka Pit. Great stuff from talented filker TSDefiance, fun turns of phrase, a real auditory experience. If you're not familiar with filk and you love Murderbot this would be a cool one to dip your ears into.
Crying: It's a Mutual Administrative Assistants Thing by Greywarrant, ramshackle_fey - 4617 words and a Reverse Big Bang collaboration. Nice fic and art rolled into one. Emotions and growing up, centered around Amena and her family.
Canon Continuation: Future Ones (Prometheus) ((and podfic))! by cooking_with_hailstones - 809 words, the legacy of a robot revolution.
Bot POV: Resolution by potatoturnipbean - 274 words of a bite-sized fic from one of my favorite fic writers. POV from the gunship of Exit Strategy.
Fanvideo: They Don't Care About Us [ANIMATIC] by anxiousEspada (avg) - This is the only work on this list that I have already experienced before and came back for seconds. It's a banger. The story of Fugitive Telemetry's Human One, animated and illustrated and set to a cover of They Don't Care About Us by Michael Jackson.
Missing Limb: Retrieval by ramshackle_fey - 915 words. I think "missing limb" was supposed to be a whump prompt on this board but we can enjoy it as a premise for a short little case fic too.
Bad End AU: Progress of Unmaking by theoscelosaurus - 2,445 words, exploring what if Murderbot died at the beginning of All Systems Red.
Unfinished Fic: Feed Address: Not Found by Scarlet_Tanager - 25,961 words and well worth a read even if the last chapter is not yet posted. Fantastically written. Do you like Murderbot experiencing emotions? Horrible SecUnit gory injury? Mensah shining and saving the day with social competence and vulnerability? Downtrodden CR workers and their rift/bridge to SecUnits? We have it all.
Rec List: as mentioned earlier, I wrote an OC rec list
Brainwashing: an unexpected lashing out by torpidgilliver - 2,235 words, maybe not strictly brainwashing but close enough. Gurathin experiencing something akin to a combat override module.
Lots of cool works in this fandom š Had a lot of fun thanks to the many talented fic writers, fan artists, pod ficcers, etc
