Black Cat # 1 sells 255,709 copies
What a time to be a Felicia Hardy fan. Black Cat # 1 was released last month and according to comichron, sold 255,709 copies; outperforming all other titles by a landslide. This haul makes Black Cat issue # 1 the second highest selling comic in 2019. This could bode well for Sony's Spider-verse if she can maintain a high level of interest in her comic book, as Black Cat is set to be a feature character in the future. It looks like Black Cat stole everyone's money 🐱
Comichron and ICv2 released their annual comic sales report. 2021 comic sales hit record highs, especially graphic novels.
Manga and kids’ graphic novels continue to drive most comics sales growth. Superheroes, not so much.
