Have you ever felt confused what your life actually stand for? Have you ever thought why you have to go on college? Have you ever felt tired of everything you do in this life? Have you ever felt lost?
In 1953, there was a research in Yale University in America. From the research they got a conclusion that there were only 3% students that have a destination of their lives. After 20 years later, in 1973, the researchers found that the 3% of students got success rather than the ones who have no destinations or confused with their lives.
Alright, I need to confess that it happened to me. One day, I found myself thinking why I have to go on college, then it lead to thoughts about what my life actually stand for. It got me feeling lost, ‘cus I don’t know what my goal is, I don’t know which direction I choose, I’m just like water go with the flow.
But then this quote gave me the thing.
“I realize why I was lost. It’s not because I didn’t have a map. It was because I didn’t have a destination.”
The thing is, everyone needs destination. Everyone needs some goals. I realize why I was lost, it’s not because I didn’t know the direction, but it because I didn’t have destination. I’m just following the natural law that everyone needs to go on school, elementary school, JHS, SHS, and then college. But I didn’t have some plans what I will be after passing college.
For those who haven’t had a destination, who haven’t knew what you would become. Let’s start to think from now, because it’s important. It’s fucking important. Because the destination you make, needs an effort that you have to do from now.
Last but not least, don’t ever think that all you have done until now is useless, don’t ever think all your fucking assignments that have been done by yourself is no price, keep believing that all your efforts will get paid.
No offense. I write this as my guilty pleasure. Hope this might help.
