okay. I had the most amusing moment in Fiesta just a second ago. Here's the scene; me, a level 46 trickster, chilling in Collapsed Prison (a level 50+ area, for those who don't play it) and killing Harkens trying to catch up to a friend of mine at 20%. As I smack a blue-furred freak and lure him away from the mob to avoid bringing multiples, this level /20/ fighter apparently decides it's a good
idea for him to hit /my/ kill. So of course, I got pissed and told him to go away and that it was mine. So he leaves it alone and I let him pass. Not a few seconds later he runs past me again and guess what's following him? A level fifty one Harken. At this point I'm laughing my ass off and watching him flee. Instead of running away like he should've done (and what any SMART newblet would've done) he TURNS AROUND and starts attacking it. Now, I'm all for standing your ground. I've always done that, that's why i can't play ranged characters to save my life. I have to be up close and personal or it bothers me. But this was ridiculous. This guy, a fighter thirty levels lower than the lowest leveled mobs in the map, is standing his ground and getting his ass whooped. At this point I've given up attacking Harkens just so I can see how he's doing. At first he's doing well; He's barely taking any damage and I realize quickly that the only reason for this is the fact that he's stunned the monster. So I'm simply /waiting/ for that stun to wear out. And as soon as it does my prayers are answered - the Harken pulls back a mighty claw and bitch-slaps that fighter right across the face. Health goes down to half. Before the poor kid can stone up and heal himself, the Harken hits him again and takes him back to (exactly, btw) one-hundred and ten hp. I'm sitting in my chair laughing and snorting trying to hold it in, all the while thinking 'some asshole cleric is going to run by and heal/buff this kid and ruin my fun.' Nope! The harken slaps him again and kills him. I watch this fighter fall to the ground and I cackle mercilessly. This happens not only once more, but a total of four glorious times before the newblet decides to give up. And that, my wonderful friends, was the best moment in Fiesta I've had since I rejoined. TL;DR: Noob got murdered.
