True story
A client emailed me yesterday afternoon. Said he wanted a little more “zip” in some copy I’d written for him.
I asked him what zip is.
“It’s just, you know, zip.”
So I waited until first thing this morning, then emailed the same copy back to him, except I’d added one exclamation point somewhere in the middle.
“Perfect!” he responded.
I really don’t know how to feel about that.
