Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup tomato sauce. 1 1/2 cups fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 475F 245C and place a pizza stone inside if you have one. Roll out the pizza dough into a circle on a floured surface. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Add the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the sauce. Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the pizza. Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven or onto the pizza stone if you have one. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Remove the pizza from the oven, drizzle with olive oil, and scatter fresh basil leaves on top.
