We have hit the definitive grind point of the semester. I've been surviving with the assistance of Pomodoro study with me videos... genuinely game changing.

This week has been almost exclusively reading Judith Butler and studying for a statistics exam. So, not my favorites. But it has been a nice reminder that I just enjoy the act of studying, so I am looking forward to when I can get back to focusing on my research.

Started my day with two(!!!) tea sessions and Bruno Latour, but somehow ended up in a statistics trance for almost 6 hours..!

First session was a secret garden Alishan oolong, the second was a GABA oolong! Both from Floating Leaves 🍃🍵

Trying to find time to do readings im actually interested in. Its been such a busy semester but so much of the work is just... bland. Bought a bunch of tea to indulge myself.

Here i am drinking Floating Leaves Wild Purple Leaf Red Oolong... really makes me nerd out. Very delicious tea... and not camellia sinensis...Camellia formosensis! Super cool.

Finally settling into a good routine where I'm both happy and productive haha

I have officially graduated with my Bachelor's! I am super excited to dive back in this fall with graduate school, but I am more excited for a pseudo-break over the summer. "Pseudo" because I will still be working on research and trying to think through my grad school plans, but hopefully there will be plenty of beach days and friend hangouts mixed in.

Had an outdoors-y Halloween weekend! Sometimes I spend so long working it's like I forget nature exists 🫣

Trying to take some pressure off myself as we get into the last few weeks of the semester... it's just not possible for me to keep doing everything to the same degree I have been. Fending off perfectionism by spending the whole day grading haha. At least thats done, though!!!
