a crumb of comfort from my end after what transpired in 3.7 so spoilers
you wake up in your room in the expreâ...
wait...the express?
you clearly remember fighting Irontomb to death...all the alliances, the geniuses, theyâ they were all with you right? so why
how did it end so quickly?
you wake up in hopes of finding your crew in all and well...
but why do you hope to see 13 more faces amongst them? Will your wishes be answered?
"shh! be quiet! he can hear us!" "no no no! I can't do this...!"
you heard shrill mumbles coming from your bathroom which you thought can be an intruder... you grabbed your bat and went in to find it
empty...
blub blub blub bubble bubble...
oh
no wonder
"come on out i know its you" you fold your arms as a smile sneaked up on your lips once the two noisy culprits stood up with Castorice heaving from the effort of holding her breath underwater.
"The golden water gave you two away Cipher and Castorice" you chuckle, feeling fuzzy as you see the two chrysos heirs. "Well someone couldn't hold her breath underwater..." she rolls her eyes as Castorice quickly jumps up to her defence "Not everybody is like Miss Hysilens!"
soon they let you leave to find the other heirs and as you make your way to the parlor car, you see Trinnon and Trianne run in the hallway of the bar.
You chat with Hyacine and Ica who could only doot doot their way in your conversation.
A bright and cheery conversation with Mydei, Aglaea and Cerydra over wine only they drank.
You got over to Trianne and Trinnon where the latter is currently chasing the former with the help of Tribbie. Cute very cute
It's so peaceful...and so warm and happy
In the Passenger Cabin you find Anaxa and Hysilens. With Anaxa who may or may not have taken some very downright blasphemous ideas after looking into the Tin Can's head. After a chit chat, you find Phainon.
You rush over after seeing him. How long it has been since you last saw him. "Long time no see partner!" he greeted you with that sunny smile you came to adore in all those months with him and others as you faced so so many trials and tribulations that it all now feels just like yesterday still lingering at your fingertips.
"Just hearing about Penacony and the Xianzhou Alliance from Dan Heng isn't really enough to make me imagine just how impressive those places sound like!"
"There are many places you can still visit on the cosmos Phainon" you beam excitedly as you tell him about it. "Some village with wheat fields like Aedes Elysiae must exist somewhere then surely?" he smiled but there was a hint of melancholy in his town now having to leave behind his past forever and journey towards the future wiht renewed hope.
"And your pink haired friend is also waiting for you!" he states. "Where is she-" "Oh come on you know she has a way of coming up at the right time"
"He is right my friend"
Ah...there she is, your beloved friend who stayed beside you all this time, all these centuries and cycles.
"Cyrene! what happened? did we win? did Irontomb fall?" you ask frantically your mind racing a thousand miles.
"Well...Irontomb has been defeated but he has not fallen...if we do no contain him then he might rise again but we can think about it later! The Express Car really exceeds my expectations from all those visions and dreams that i saw from you!"
but something feels off...
"So...this is not a dream? You guys are not fake?"
"Hm? Of course we arent't! Although the world that we so desperately fought for is now nothing but a star drifting in the cosmos, it is a seed that will be nurtured to its full growth and Amphoreus will be born anew hehe" she smiles at you, with hope straining her words
"So...you guys will now stay with us? With the Crew?"
"They will journey with us now until they find their own purpose" you hear Himeko's voice as she approaches you with Welt, Dan Heng and March and Pom Pom.
"As the Conductor we have all unanimously decided to let the Heirs stay in the Express for as long they like!" "In this trailblazing journey, we always welcome visitors abroad but they are more than just visitos or passerby to us" Welt fixed his glasses as he sounded Himeko and Pom Pom's claim. March chirped in "Wow! We are catching people from the cosmos like strays now! First it was Sunday then the whole Chrysos Heir group!" Dan Heng said "Well there should be enough room for them"
"What...about you Cyrene? You haven't said anything about staying in the express..."
"Well i still have some unfinished business so... i wish for the cosmos to know about the romantic story that we have penned down for Amphoreus so.." she handed you As I've Written "fill up the blank pages with the epic saga that we foretold" she gave you a wink but you saw how her eyes were threatening to spill the tears
"See you tomorrow then friend! it was a beautiful and romantic journey like no other..." she turned her back
its supposed to be beautiful sure but does it feel so conflicting? so empty? why is this reality like a sweet dream?
"and i hope you will forgive me friend"
until we meet again
farewell, Amphoreus
see you tomorrow, PhiLia093/peach/Elysia
yall got no idea 'bout how badly I cried after completing the quest. its beautiful and the fact that amphoreus might form again if we keep on trailblazing in an unknown number of years is quite comforting which means we might get to see them again

Characters: Mydei, Anaxa, Phainon, Cipher, and Aglaea
Mydeimos
đ· Is a Somali breed.
đ· Mydei is an aloof and reserved cat that prefers to be left alone. Heâs not a lap cat that you can cuddle and pick up whenever you please, at least, not until you spend enough time earning his trust. Over time, he learns to tolerate your desire to touch him, but most other people arenât so privileged. Unless theyâre children, that is. Mydei is surprisingly tolerant and gentle towards kids. Even if they tug on his tail or fur, he never lashes out at them.
đ· He's also very stubborn. During the first few months of your cohabitation, Mydei would resist and fight back whenever you tried to get him to do something he didnât want to, such as bathing and brushing. He swatted at you when you pushed your luck, but you noted that he never used his claws on you or even tried to bite. Despite being feisty, he knew not to hurt you. Once he warmed up to you, Mydei became tolerant of you bathing and grooming him even if he didnât like it. He may flick his tail and look all brooding, but he stays well-behaved during the process.
đ· Prefers hiding away somewhere high up. Mydei likes to sit on top of the fridge or wardrobe where heâs unlikely to be bothered. Those are his favourite hiding spots whenever you have guests over.
đ· Mydei is an energetic cat that needs daily exercise and play to burn the excess energy. He gets restless staying cooped up at home with little stimulation and could tear up your furniture and curtains trying to entertain himself. Aside from playing chase with a laser and string, you found that the most effective method was to let Mydei outside where he could run around unhindered.
đ· Letting him roam outside churned out some interesting results. Despite being a reserved cat, Mydei garnered a large following. Cats from all over the neighbourhood started following him around as if he were their leader. When you opened the door to let Mydei back home, youâd sometimes spot a group of 10 or more cats sitting not too far away before going their separate ways once Mydei disappeared inside. Youâd also spot them following him around the neighbourhood, facing off against other strays or engaging in play.
đ· Aside from human children, Mydei is also gentle with kittens. You discovered him playing with a couple of stray kittens once. He let the little ones bite and hop all over him and even played chase with them.
đ· Mydei is protective of you and comes running when he senses youâre in distress. Thereâs a spider youâre afraid of? He kills it for you. Thereâs a person making you uncomfortable? He sits next to you and growls at them with his tail whipping in warning until they leave. He will even fight off a dog if it gets too aggressive towards you. Youâre his most trusted and beloved owner, so he sees it as his duty to protect you. For this reason, he often stays in the same room as you when you sleep, almost as if watching over you.
đ· Likes to watch you cook. When he hears you working in the kitchen, Mydei will almost always join you and sit somewhere nearby, watching you cook or bake with interest. Will jump on the counter to investigate what youâre making (and get his fur in the food). He likes it when you give him ingredients to sniff and sample. You discovered heâs fond of creamy foods and pomegranate, though you only give them to him in moderation.
đ· Youâve heard of cats having nine lives, but you swear Mydei has an infinite amount of them. Youâve lost count of the number of times your heart has stopped seeing Mydei fight dogs, fall out of trees, and almost getting hit by a car. Miraculously, he always came out in once piece with nothing more than a few scratches. In fact, Mydeiâs health in general is very good. The only times youâve had to take him to the vet was for shots despite all the precarious situations heâs gotten himself into.
Anaxagoras
đż A Russian Blue.
đż Shortly after acquiring Anaxa as a kitten, you quickly discovered just how intelligent he was. He didnât like being separated from his mother and siblings and so became an escape artist in an attempt to go back to his original home. At first, he hid near the front door and waited until you opened it to quickly dart outside. Once you became vigilant and careful about opening the front door, he got crafty. He figured out how to turn doorhandles and used open windows to escape even if they were a few floors up. He got injured doing so, so you had to lock all your windows.
đż After a lot of grief, Anaxa eventually accepted his fate of being your new pet and stopped trying to run away. However, he refused to be a cuddly lap cat for you. He doesnât ask for or give affection, he shies away when you try to pet him and wriggles out of your hold when you try to pick him up. If you pester him too much, heâll warn you to back off my flicking his tail and hissing. Scratching is his last resort, but heâll do it if you bother him enough.
đż When youâre not forcing your affection onto him, Anaxa can be a surprisingly fun cat to have. His high intelligence enables him to solve complex puzzles. Heâs fond of those cat puzzles that require him to solve them to get a treat. He also likes being given obstacle courses to cross, such a needing to cross a hallway covered in string or balloons. Though heâs less fond of obstacles that require him to jump and crawls under them if he can. He likes being challenged since it keeps him mentally stimulated. If he gets bored, Anaxa will play with the faucet, light switches, and get himself into your cupboards and drawers to explore, otherwise heâll become moody from boredom. You have to regularly entertain him.
đż Though it may seem like Anaxa doesnât like you, thatâs not true. Just because he doesnât let you pet him doesnât mean he isnât fond of you. Heâs actually very in-tune with your emotions and comforts you when youâre sad or hurting. When you cry, he approaches you and lays on your chest or lets you hold him and cry into his fur without protest. Itâs one of the few times when you can pet him without him shying away. He also senses when youâre on your period and comes to lay on your abdomen to soothe your cramping.
đż You swear that Anaxa understands every word you say. When you talk to him, his body and expression change in response to what youâre saying, such as flattening his ears when you scold him or perking his tail when you praise him. He also meows back at you as if continuing the conversation. His meows get particularly angry when you try to bathe him or when you come home late.
đż Anaxaâs favourite toy is a dromas plushie that he usually keeps in his cat bed and cuddles with to sleep. He also likes wearing the dromas catsuit you bought him. Itâs the only outfit he doesnât try to tear to shreds but actually struts around the house in.
đż Due to his high entertainment requirement, you chose to let Anaxa roam outside despite his many attempts to flee as a kitten. To your relief, he didnât attempt to flee but returned home whenever he was done exploring for the day. However, he tends to come home looking disheveled and sometimes even bleeding. You soon find out that he gets into fights with the neighbourhood cats. For whatever reason, they donât like Anaxa. Your beloved kitty also eats plants heâs not supposed to, so you had to rush him to the vet a few times.
đż During one of his many excursions outdoors, Anaxa injured his eye. You donât know how it happened, but you were very distraught when you brough him to the vet and were told the eye would have to be removed. You thought about preventing him from going out after that, but Anaxa would ask to be let out and turn into an escape artist again when you refused, so it was easier to just let him and monitor when he went out. Thankfully he never got that injured again.
đż Despite his unpopularity with the neighbourhood cats, you were pleased to see him get along with a couple younger cats. Hyacine, Castorice, and Phainon sometimes followed Anaxa like kittens following their mother and he tolerated them well. You even caught him grooming one of them. There is also Calypso, a stray that spends a lot of time with Anaxa doing whatever dangerous hijinks he gets up to. Youâre not sure about the blind cat Aglaea, though her owner told you she and Anaxa got along well after you left Anaxa in their care for a couple of days.
Phainon
âïž Is a Turkish Angora.
âïž Phainon is a playful and energetic cat. He loves it when you play with him, be it with a laser or a mouse toy. He even plays fetch and will strut over to you looking all smug when he manages to catch the toy you threw in midair. Phainon likes your attention in general and is happy to let you pet and cuddle him. He purrs when you scratch under his chin and leans into your hand when you pet him.
âïž He may seem like the perfect cat with a sweet and affectionate temperament, but in truth, Phainon is a mess. He hates being left alone for long periods of time and struggles being on his own when youâre away for most of the day. Your neighbour reported that they heard Phainon pitifully wailing for hours until your arrival. In addition, Phainon turns your house upside down when left alone for too long. Items are knocked off shelves, the curtains are torn up in places where he paws at the windows, and thereâs an overturned potted plant with its soil spilled all over the floor. Phainon doesnât do it on purpose, but he panics and runs around the house in search of a way out to look for you.
âïž When you do come home, Phainon is already waiting for you at the door and comes running to purr and rub against your legs before you even get your shoes off. Heâs happy to have you home but you catch him following you around the house as if heâs worried youâll disappear again. Youâre doing laundry? Phainon comes with and watches you load the washing machine. Youâre sitting at your computer? Phainon will jump onto the desk and watch you do your thing before laying on your keyboard so youâll pay attention to him. Youâre taking a shower? Phainon is scratching at the door, begging you to let him in.
âïž Because he gets lonely easily, you chose to let Phainon roam outside to keep himself entertained while youâre gone. This worked, and now you sometimes see him playing with a few animal friends he made in the neighbourhood. Thereâs the one-eyed cat Anaxa, the leonine Mydei, a pretty stray named Cyrene, and three small munchkin cats. Phainon even befriended a raccoon you often see digging in trash cans.
âïž Phainonâs mischievous side comes out when left alone with Mydei. At first, you worried the two cats hated each other because they often fought but afterwards Phainon would come running back to you with his tail perked up, looking happy, so you figured out they were only playfighting. The two cats got up to all kinds of mischief, usually instigated by Phainon. You caught them zooming around your backyard like two energetic kittens, presumably engaged in a race or some other kind of game. One of them knocked over one of your potted plants so you gave them a verbal lashing. The cats had the decency to look guilty, and afterwards Phainon never engaged in such play in your backyard ever again.
âïž Aside from playing with the neighbourhood cats, Phainon also likes to collect âgiftsâ for you. He comes home with a little something in his mouth and drops it at your feet. Most of the time itâs a leaf, a wrapper, or piece of dirty cloth. On rare occasions itâs a mouse or bird. Itâs usually useless junk, though he once brought you a coin. Phainon always looks at you expectantly when giving you the âgiftâ and meows. Youâre not sure what heâs trying to say, but he looks proud of himself, so you lack the heart to dispose of his presents (except the animal ones).
âïž Phainon dislikes seeing you sad or sick. When youâre not feeling your best, he lays on your chest and purrs. He stays like that for at least an hour or until you feel like getting up.
âïž Doesnât enjoy taking baths. As soon as you place him in the water, Phainon tries to climb out of the tub but reluctantly stays when you gently force him back in. You can tell he hates the entire bathing process by his pitiful meowing, but otherwise he stays well-behaved for you. Just make sure to reward him with treats and affection afterwards.
Cifera
đȘ Bengal cat.
đȘ You swear Cipher is a magpie born in a catâs body. She has a tendency to steal shiny things like glass marbles and sparkly Christmas ornaments, but the most worrisome is her penchant for jewelry and coins. Youâve had a lot of jewelry and coins go missing because you left them unattended only for Cipher to take advantage and squirrel them away.
đȘ Perhaps itâs because you got her as a stray, but Cipher is a free spirit that doesnât like being cooped up at home. Try as you might to keep her indoors, she always finds some way to escape so youâve given up and just let her go out as she pleases even if it means she doesnât come home for several days. You then heard neighbourhood gossip about a cat stealing jewelry and other small trinkets, only to have your suspicions confirmed when Cipher comes home with someone elseâs necklace in her mouth. No matter how much you try to discourage this bad habit of hers, you can never cure it, so youâre stuck apologizing to your neighbors and returning the stolen valuables.
đȘ Even your loved ones arenât safe from Cipherâs thieving tendencies. One time you had a friend over with a sparkly hairclip in her hair. Cipher acted unusually affectionate towards your friend, rubbing up against her and purring in a way that had you feeling that something was up. Sure enough, as soon as your friend let down her guard and picked up Cipher, the cat lunged for the hairclip and tugged it out of your friendâs hair before running away. Since then, you warned everyone who comes to visit to not wear shiny things or risk them being stolen by your cat.
đȘ Aside from being a thief, Cipher is also a menace. For seemingly no reasons at all, she likes to knock items to the floor. While youâre having breakfast, she starts pawing at the mug on the table. You tell her âCipher, no.â She looks at you, and as if saying âCipher, yes.â with her eyes, knocks the mug to the floor, looking pleased with herself when it breaks. She runs away when you yell at her, but your reprimands never stop her from doing it again.
đȘ Cipher makes your life difficult in other little inconvenient ways. She hides your keys, steals your socks so you no longer have matching pairs, and raids your pantry. Every time you scold her, she rolls onto her back and looks at you with innocent, round eyes, that you no longer have the heart to be angry with her. Then, she steals the food on your plate when your guard is lowered.
đȘ You bought Cipher a collar with a bell so you can hear where she is in the house in case sheâs up to no good. Though it alerts you to her presence, itâs not very effective because Cipher is simply too fast for you to stop. Sheâs like a bolt of lighting, there one moment and gone the next, so you struggle to catch her before she does something bad.
đȘ For all the bad that comes with owning Cipher, there are good things, as well. Sheâs very intelligent and good at learning tricks if you reward her with dried fish snacks. Can even learn tricks like playing dead and doing backflips.
đȘ She also regularly checks up on you. She strolls into whatever room youâre in to see how youâre doing. If sheâs in a good mood, sheâll rub against your legs and ask for affection, bumping her head into your palm when you pet her.
đȘ At night, she likes to sleep curled up beside you. Sheâll inevitably leave to do mischief in the middle of the night but always comes back to take another nap next to you. For all her disobedience, Cipher feels safest and at home with you.
đȘ While Cipher enjoys playing with feathered toys and felt mice, you discovered she likes chasing after jewelry and coins a lot more. You tied a coin to a piece of string once and used that as bait to play with her, and Cipher turned into an expert hunter. She closely chased after that coin, zooming across the room at the speed of light and successfully capturing it every time, no matter how quickly you tried to yank it away from her.
Aglaea
𧔠Doll faced Persian (aka the traditional Persian without smushed face).
𧔠Aglaea is the most gorgeous cat youâve ever seen. She looks flawless in every photo you take of her, with her peculiar green eyes and golden fur and pretty muzzle. She could easily win cat beauty contests if you choose to sign her up for any.
𧔠When you first got her, Aglaea had perfectly functioning eyes, but a disease made her lose her eyesight. However, her blindness doesnât prevent her from living her life. It took her some time to get used to being unable to see, but Aglaea is still capable of navigating your house and gracefully jumping onto furniture. All in all, she adapted to life without sight fairly well.
𧔠Before she lost her eyesight, Aglaea liked to play with string and yarn. She still plays with a ball of yarn even with her disability, but not as much as she used to.
𧔠One of her favorite activities is being groomed. Aglaea loves it when you comb out her fur. She turns into a purring machine and kneads with her front paws when you brush her and even leans into the brush when you brush her cheeks. As much as she loves a good brush, her favorite part of a groom is the bath. Aglaea is probably the only cat that loves to just sit and soak in the warm water. You have zero problems bathing her because she stays nice and still while you shampoo and rinse her. You would even say she seems reluctant to leave the tub when you take her out.
𧔠She also enjoys wearing fashionable clothes, like little suits and dresses, and never kicks up a fuss about being made to wear uncomfortable suits. If anything, she looks like she enjoys dressing up. Aglaea looks regal in practically anything you put on her, but she looks especially stunning when wearing sparkly things like a diamond-studded collar. Your cat could be a cat model, honestly.
𧔠Overall, Aglaea is a well-behaved cat. She has a calm temperament, doesnât kick up a fuss when you groom her, and doesnât misbehave or get into trouble at all. Youâve never had to scold her for anything. Truly, sheâs the best cat a person could ask for.
𧔠You rarely see Aglaea get agitated, but the neighborâs cat Anaxa seems to effortlessly rile her up. Whether sheâd smell him outside the window or hear his yowling, her tail would start whipping in annoyance. When Anaxa spots her, his fur would stand on end and heâd hiss at her. When Anaxaâs owner asked you to look after him while they were gone for a few days, you were worried he and Aglaea would tear each other to shreds, but to your surprise, they ended up getting along. It took a bit of time, but once they stopped seeing each other as enemies they seemed to enjoy one anotherâs company.
𧔠Aside from Anaxa, Aglaea also gets along with three munchkin cats: Trianne, Trinnon, and Tribbie. The three little cats often come over to play with Aglaea, and though Aglaea canât play intensively due to her disability, she still grooms them and enjoys their company.
𧔠Aglaea also gets along well with the younger cat Cifera, better known as Cipher or "Thieving Rascal" among the neighborhood. Aglaea had encountered Cipher as a kitten and took her under her wing, grooming and feeding the stray until you managed to find her a good home, though not before Cipher had stolen some accessories you kept for Aglaea. Cipher sometimes comes by to check on Aglaea and you let the two cats hang out.
𧔠Despite her calm temperament, you learned that Aglaea can also be very fierce and protective. Sheâs territorial by nature and dislikes it when strangers come into your home. You have to introduce new people to her or else she will act wary and see them as a threat. If she senses that someone is making you uncomfortable or is a threat to you, she will hiss and growl at them to back off. If they donât, she wonât hesitate to attack them. Aglaea is protective of that which she holds dear.

âą Aglaea
Most of the time, Aglaea wouldnât allow you to play with her hair, which is mostly due to her wanting to look her best all the time. She canât be going around with messy hair canât she? Though, when you two are alone itâs more common for her to actually let you run your fingers through her hair. Even if she prefers to be the one who does that for you, she canât deny that it feels relaxing, sometimes even more relaxing than visiting the bath house after a tiring week.
âą Hyacine
She loves it a lot! Especially when cuddling with you after a long day of dealing with your duties as one of the chrysos heirs. Her face on your chest, listening to your heartbeat while you run your fingers through her soft, pink hair. And when you started to tell her about the cute chimeras you saw today, it truly felt like heaven for her! She was trying so hard to not fall asleep but all of it was just so relaxing! You canât blame her for drifting off when your voice and your fingers in her hair are so calming.. Oh well, at least itâs not little Ica who is laying on top of you!
âą Phainon
When you played with his hair for the first time ever, you swear that if he had a tail, it would be wagging so hard he would just fly away. Currently, he is laying in your lap as you run your fingers through his white hair while gently massaging his scalp in the process. He canât think of a better place to be in. When you suddenly stop and tell him that you have to go do some things, he won't stop pouting until you play with his hair again. He just loves your attention soo much!! If he could, he would stay like this forever! ⊠With a few kisses during it of course.
âą Castorice
Another one who would absolutely melt when you run your fingers through her hair! She canât deny that she was very excited when you started to play with her hair as you two cuddled but now itâs just overwhelming! For a good reason of course! She tried to cover her blushing face by burying it in your chest but you could clearly see that her ears were red. You decided to not tease her this time as you know that she still isnât used to this kind physical affection. Which simply means there are even more reasons for you to shower her with love more often!
âą Mydei
Mydei really enjoys the feeling of your hands touching his hair. Whenever itâs you helping him tie his hair up when he is cooking or you running your fingers through it when you two are cuddling. He genuinely loves it when you tell him to lay his head on your lap after a tiring day and then start playing with his hair. First you undo the small braid on the side, then attempt to do some other fun hairstyles and at the end you gently massage his scalp. During it, he might let out a few deep breaths and quiet groans just of how nice it feels.
âą Anaxa
As much as he claims to not like it, yet he hasnât moved an inch since you started. He might complain at the start but as time goes by, his words blur together. It also didnât go unnoticed by you that he started to lean into your touch, now sitting much closer to you and his head slightly tilted for easier reach. When you undo his hair, he lets out a soft sigh as he relaxes into your touch even more. Once you stop, he will act like it was a waste of his time, but you can tell that both his face and voice are now much softer. Donât be surprised that when you two will be heading to sleep, he will subtly try to make you play with his hair again, be it by laying closer to you than usual or even laying his head on your chest.
âą Cipher
Just like an actual cat, Cipher absolutely loves it when you play with her hair. Especially when you scratch behind her ears in the process! She wonât be embarrassed to ask you for attention and will even demand it, no matter if itâs in private or public. When you are sitting on the couch, she will lay on your lap like itâs the most natural thing to do. Her attitude quickly disappears as you begin to pet her. If you listen closely, you can even hear her purr as she melts into a puddle. Though.. once she lays down, be ready to stay in this position for as long as Cipher will think itâs needed.

Thank you so much for reading! Hope you enjoyed these headcanons!! Sadly christmas break ended so it may take me longer to write new things. If you have any ideas what I can write next please tell meâĄâĄ
my headcanons for pet names the chrysos heirs would use:
hyacine - sweetie, love, sunshine (because you brighten her day). willing to get a little silly with it and call you her teddy bear or cupcake, even if such cutesy names fit her even more!
castorice - dear, beloved, my love. very classical endearments you'd find in literature (most of her exposure to romance comes from books). said very shyly like she's not used to even thinking it.
hysilens - sea butterfly, fish food, small fry, angelfish, starfish, little crab, seabird. clownfish if you're silly. less flattering endearments depending on what kind of ocean creature she's assigned you. it's always out of love though because everything that's part of the sea has its charms.
cerydra - does giving you your own special title count as a pet name. dux cordium? dux amorum perhaps? one of the heirs who isn't necessarily keen on pet names; her esteem for you is evident in other ways.
aglaea - beloved, my sweet, my love, my dearest heart, my other half. however she can convey that you mean everything to her, and she is undone without you. as the heir of romance she has many kind words for you.
evernight - her dearest memory. one of the few things in this universe that is solely evernight's to keep and cherish.
cipher - babe, baby, kitten. her most precious treasure. her beloved chicken sandwich (JOKE)
cyrene - runs the whole gamut of endearments but specifically angel, honey, dearest, darling. for once, the story of her words isn't quite enough to express all her feelings for you, but she'll keep trying anyway.
phainon - my love. seems like he'd bashfully call you babe or sweetheart or honey. similarly to hyacine, you too are his daylight, but also his moon and stars.
anaxagoras - beloved, dearest, dear. keeps it remarkably simple, however his love for you is anything but. often just uses your name because it's just as important as any endearment to him.
mydei - mostly uses your name, however one day he'll unexpectedly call you darling and leave you feeling shocked and flustered about it. not so much reliant on the words to convey his love but it is still apparent when he speaks highly of you in his very proud, noble way.
*not in any way limited to these, i encourage you to make your own headcanons for your ships too ^^

Hello! Can I an platonic request? Like the chryso heirs(( of your choice :D)) white a fellow chryso heir reader that's like an kid 8-10 years old.. Because their so young, emotional which kinda make them irrational to the eyes of many and clueless the council of elders always picks on them? Like "bully them" sorta?
ÊÉ Sadder days, why do they keep on using me? ÊÉ
Summary: Being a child and a Chrysos Heir isn't the easiest life to lead. Before you stand the Council of Elders who question your worthiness, restricts you of privileges. Innocently, you let your fellow Chrysos Heir know about this, thinking it of a funny joke. But their protective reactions say otherwise.
A/N: TYSM FOR THE REQ! HEY GUYS đ um tbh i didn't think id write all thw Chrysos Heirs, my indecisive ass couldn't pick 3 so i wrote them all, n i wanted to practice writing them, CIPHER MY DAUGHTER, IF HER PART LOOKS LONGER TO U ITS BC IT IS I LOVE CIPHER, ALSO âŒïžâŒïžâŒïž Aglaea is there in almost all the scenerios bc i wanted to keep her beef w Caenis and i wanted to see Caenis get cooked by her, anyways, hope you enjoy!
â Phainon:
You donât mean to cause a stir. Youâre just playing with Phainon in the garden, gathering poppy crowns and giggling over flower names when you casually mention how the Elders always make you skip dinner to memorize ancient hymnsâhow sometimes, you fall asleep hungry. You donât say it like itâs a tragedy. Just another thing youâre told is ânormal for a Chrysos Heir.â
Phainon stills. The laughter drains from his golden eyes, replaced with an unreadable calm. âThey made you go to sleep hungry?â he repeats softly, as if confirming it with himself. When you nod innocently, he offers you a little smileâbut it doesnât reach his eyes. âWait here. Iâll be right back.â
When Phainon enters the Council chamber, his presence hits like a cold wave. The smile is gone. His sword is at his side, but itâs his voice that cuts deeper. âI donât remember starvation being part of divine inheritance,â he says with polite fury. âSo unless Caenis would like the Court to believe we mistreat children under the name of legacyââ Caenis tries to defend protocol, but Aglaea arrives silently, crossing the chamber like a shadow made of light.
She stops beside Phainon, her voice slicing through. âThis Council does not decide who is worthy of meals.â Her sharp eyes land directly on Caenis. âLet it happen again, and Chrysos Heirs will not be the only one watching.â
That day, Phainon sneaks into your room with a basket of your favorite pastries and a bright crimson cloak. âTo keep you warm,â he says, gently tucking it around your shoulders. âAnd full.â His eyes shine with something fiercely protective.
â Mydei:
Youâre trying to explain why you couldnât join the morning drillsâ âOne of the Council Elders said I wasnât allowed because I âstumble too much,ââ you say, with a small shrug. Mydei had invited you to watch his sword forms, hoping to inspire you. You thought it was funny at first, even. Mydei doesnât.
He goes stiff like a stormâs brewing inside him. âWhich one?â he asks bluntly. When you tell him, he huffs a sharp breath and mutters, âCoward. Talking like that to a kid.â He doesnât say much elseâjust grips your hand and tells you to follow him.
The door to the Council opens with a slam. Mydei doesnât wait for permission to speak. âLet me make one thing clear,â he growls. âIf I hear anyoneâanyoneâcalling a Chrysos Heir weak again, you'll face me in battle. And I wonât be gentle.â
Caenis raises a brow, but Mydei steps forward with a soldierâs bite. âYou think youâre teachers? You canât even train your own mouths.â
The Council stays quiet. Mydei only leaves after Aglaea places a hand on his shoulder and says, âTheyâve heard you. Now let them listen.â Her gaze meets Caenisâ like lightning meeting stone.
Later, Mydei gives you a wooden sword shaped like his own. âNext time someone calls you clumsy, show them this. And swing it.â He thinks he's done a great job, at being your self-proclaimed older brother.
â Aglaea:
You didnât expect her to take it personally. Youâre sitting with Aglaea, gently brushing gold thread through her loom while she works, when you mention how the Elders often "joke" that your voice is too soft to be taken seriously. âThatâs why they skip me when we make announcements,â you add with a laugh.
Aglaeaâs thread stills. âAnd you believe them?â she asks quietly. You shrug. âTheyâre just grown-ups. They know more.â Her hands lower from the loom entirely. âNo. They should know better.â
She enters the Council chamber with poise, but her tone could cleave marble. âYou ridicule a Chrysos Heir for softness when it is precisely softness that weaves our world?â Caenis tries to defend it as âharmless critique,â but Aglaea turns to him fully. âYou silence children with cruelty and call it structure. I call it cowardice.â Her voice resonates like bells in frost.
Caenis falters, for once unable to summon a counter. Aglaeaâs threads glimmer faintly at her fingertips. âIf I ever hear of this happening again, Caenis, your title will not shield you from public scrutiny. Do not test me.â
Later, she invites you to recite the announcements beside her. She amplifies your voice with a golden thread wrapped gently around your throat. âYou donât need to speak louder,â she whispers. âOnly truer.â
â Anaxa:
You're munching on fruit slices with Anaxa in the twilight courtyard, swinging your legs off the edge of the marble ledge when you casually say, âThe elders said I should never sit there againâsomething about 'dirtying the marble with a lowborn's presence.' But they were joking, I think?â
Anaxa doesnât laugh. In fact, he freezes.
You watch him for a moment before he rises silently, his silver decorated gun glinting beneath the faint light. âStay here,â he says, voice calm in a way that makes the trees stop rustling. When you look up, he's already ruffling your hair before he decides to leave, the gun never leaving his side.
At the next council assembly, Anaxa stands before them, posture straight, gaze unflinching. âIf you ever use your authority to wound one of our own again, I will remind you of your place beneath the Heirs,â he said with that rare, cold fire that made even Caenis lean back. Aglaea, seated beside him, adds calmly, âWould you like us to issue a decree about seating, Caenis? Or are you worried it would make your favoritism too obvious?â
Later, you find Anaxa sitting beside you again, wordlessly handing you a fresh fruit plate and adjusting your seat on the marble ledge with a cushion heâs brought. âLet them speak again,â he mutters, âand Iâll make sure they eat their tongues.â
â Tribbie:
Youâre on the floor of the garden sketching creatures when Tribbie flops beside you with a sandwich. She offers you half, but you hesitateââThe Elders said I shouldnât ask for extra food again,â you explain. âThey said it makes me look greedy.â Tribbie blinks. Then blinks again.
Then she laughs. âPfft. Idiots.â You think sheâs jokingâuntil sheâs marching off across the marble halls, determined she is. She's let Aglaea know everything beforehand to prepare something to have the Council's mouth shut.
She bursts into the Council meeting mid-session. âWho told a child they were greedy for being hungry?â she demands, voice echoing off every polished wall. One of the Elders stutters out something about âteaching restraint,â but Tribbie dismissed them immediately. âYou want to teach restraint? Try restraining yourselves from being terrible.â
Just then, Trianne, Trinnon slip in behind her. âWe agree,â Trianne says smoothly, already feeling proud at her own intervention. âVery distasteful.â Caenis tries to objectâbut Trinnon starts unpacking notes of complaints filed by others. Suddenly, the Elders have nothing to say.
Tribbie returns with her arms full of bread rolls, cookies, and a sticky note that has the Tribios and you drawn on it, presumably Trianne's artwork. She plops them down beside you. âEat like a monarch, heir.â
When you point at the artwork, Trianne suddenly flies over to you, Trinnon tagging along. For the rest of the day, you're surrounded with the company of who you thought were angels, if only you understood how much of it is true.
â Castorice:
You are curled up in the Library of Phillia, showing Castorice a new drawing you made of her butterflies. Offhandedly, you say, âThe council laughed at my handwriting when I gave them my poem. They said âa Chrysos Heir shouldnât scribble like a child.ââ You smile. âBut itâs okay. Iâll just draw instead.â
Castorice blinks, her smile fading.
âThat... was not kind,â she says quietly, but there is something brewing behind her eyesâsomething sharp. She nods to herself, closes your drawing book, and stands. âIâll be back soon.â
The elders were deep in deliberation when Castorice entered, silent as snowfall. Without greeting, she places your poem on the table before them. âYou mocked this,â she says softly. âMocked a child who creates beauty without pride.â She meets Caenisâs gaze, not blinking. âDo you even remember what it means to feel joy when someone gives you something they made?â
Caenis opens her mouthâbut Aglaea, who's been there for a 'conversation' with the Council, speaks first. âApologize,â she commands. âOr would you rather Castorice recite the councilâs mockery before all of Okhema?â
The next day, Castorice returns to the Library with a gentle smile and a new pen set, custom-engraved. âWrite anything you want,â she says, setting down her own writing beside yours in hopes of inspiring you. âAnd if they laugh again, Iâll have them see the work of death myself.â
â Hyacine:
You're gardening in the sun with Hyacine, pulling weeds with muddy hands. Laughing, you say, âThe elders said I looked like a wild rat in the wheat fields last time.â You don't realize anything was wrong until Hyacine stops.
Hyacine sits back, hands frozen on the trowel. She tilts her head slightly, face unreadable.
âIs that so?â she asks softly.
Later that evening, she walks alone into the council chamber, Little Ica following her behind. The room quiets as she approaches Caenis, her demeanor just as polite as before.
âI believe it is beneath your station to insult a Chrysos Heirâs appearance while they tend to the lands that feed you,â Hyacine says calmly. âPerhaps youâve confused your position as Elder with that of Tyrant.â
Aglaea raises an eyebrow from her seat. âShould I schedule a disciplinary hearing, Elder Caenis?â
The outcome is a quiet shift in the way the council looks at you afterwardâstiff backs, awkward greetings. That night, Hyacine returns to the field with a wide-brimmed hat and gloves in your size. âLet them come here and work a day,â she says gently. âThey won't be able to do half the work you've done.â At that, Little Ica nods its head. You can only smile and giggle, playing with the small animal and blissfully unaware of the situation that had unfolded and folded before your own eyes.
â Cipher:
Youâre sitting cross-legged in the Archives Hall with Cipher, whoâs animatedly decoding one of the ancient puzzles meant only for Chrysos Heirs. The two of you have always had a curious sibling-like bond â she calls you âpebble,â even though sheâs never told you why. As you're watching her flick a holographic rune between her fingers, you casually remark:
âElder Caenis said I donât need a voice, just obedience. And that Iâm lucky to be allowed in the Twilight Courtyard at all. Isnât that funny?â
Cipherâs hand freezes mid-air. The rune stops spinning.
Her blue eyes shift sideways toward you, her smile still on â but itâs tight now. Too tight.
âFunny,â she echoes with a little giggle. âOh, pebble⊠thatâs not funny. Thatâs war.â
She leans forward, brushing your cheek with her knuckles in a seemingly affectionate gesture, but the glint in her eyes is pure wildfire. You donât realize it yet, but Cipher's already scheming. And the Council of Elders? They just became her next puzzle to break.
Cipher never storms into the Council chambers. Thatâs not her way. Instead, over the next week, strange things begin happening. First, an announcement from the Twilight Treasury: several of the Council's estates have been flagged for "historical debt inconsistencies" â despite being paid in full centuries ago. Then, the lights in their personal quarters flicker endlessly in a Morse-like code that spells "Shame. Shame. Shame." in Old Okhemian script. Mysterious scrolls arrive at their doors bearing scandalous (but utterly false) allegations of betrayal against the Chrysos Lineage. The public stirs. Whispers spread like wild vines.
The Council calls an emergency meeting with Aglaea, demanding she identify and restrain the culprit behind the chaos.
Standing before the silver dais, Aglaea regards Caenis and the others with that glimmering stillness of hers â the unbreakable elegance and serene silence.
âYou believe someone has targeted you through manipulation, forged accounts, and deception?â she asks, voice silk over ice.
Caenis stiffens. âYes. The records and the symbols â theyâre Cipherâs design. She must be punished.â
Aglaeaâs lips part in a soft smile. It doesnât reach her eyes. âMmm. How unfortunate,â she replies simply. âBut I see no reason to intervene. Perhaps it is your accounts that deserve closer examination.â
She turns away without another word, her threads already weaving protection around you in invisible rings.
Cipher meets you later that night under the sky of the Twilight Courtyard. Sheâs wearing that same carefree grin, legs swinging from the balcony as if nothing happened.
âPebble,â she hums. âI handled it. They wonât be bothering you anymore.â
You blink, confused. âWhat did you do?
She leans in conspiratorially and winks. âJust... moved a few numbers around. Drew some attention. Gave them a taste of feeling small. You know, justice â but with extra glitter.â
You donât understand all of it, but you smile anyway. Cipher bumps her shoulder against yours and tosses you a tiny silver coin etched with the Councilâs crest â and a cartoon goose stamped over it. âKeep it,â she says. âA souvenir. From your very first coup.â
A/N: Finals are KILLING MEEEEE, just a few more days and I'm free!!! And once I'm free i can spend more time writing :3 So expect more posts this month~!
â Anaxaâ
He doesn't blush. That's what he claims and will try to convince you of at least. But it's always clear when he's flustered because of just how defensive and argumentative he gets. I mean, he is argumentative to begin with but when flustered it practically doubles as he desperately tries to hide his real emotions.
Blush wise, he gets the slightest dusting of pink across his cheeks, a faint rose in colour.
â Mydeiâ
He tends to cling to you when he's flustered, always grumbling things under his breath that he refuses to repeat (They are definitely compliments or petty complaints about how you are 'too cute') For a man who is so quiet he sure has a lot to say all of a sudden.
His ears are a raging alarm bell, always giving him away, and if he's really flustered the deep crimson starts to trail down his neck.
â Phainonâ
Phainon, ever the drama queen, buries his face in the nearest object he can find, weather it's your shoulder, a pillow, or a table he's scrambling to hide his face. When he's flustered he suddenly loses the ability to speak and resorts to squeaking noises.
A blushing mess when flustered. its covers his face, nose, ears, neck, his whole face stained a bright pink.
â Cipherâ
Cipher becomes a tangle of embarrassment when she's flustered. You'd expect her to through back some sly remark but if you manage to truly catch her off guard its quite the sight. Tail flicking behinds her, ears pressed back against her head as she chokes on her own words.
Her nose and cheeks are what gives her away (Along with her ears and tail) she flushes a pretty coral tone.
â Aglaeaâ
It's nearly impossible to fluster the demigod of romance and if you do manage too she doesn't give you any signs, she'll shamelessly flirt back and you end up being the flustered one.
If your lucky, a soft pink may just graze the tips of her ears and nose.
How would the amphoreus cast (any character you'd prefer, but I'd like to see this prompt with aglaea) with a trailblazer s/o who's like, as tall as cerydra or doll herta.
... But they have Herculean strength that definitely doesn't match the muscle proportions they have...
How would the character react to seeing the reader literally punch through walls, hurl chunks of the ground at their targets and over power enemies literally triple their size.
I just think it'd be a funny contrast seeing as how most of the amphoreus cast hold themselves with a sense of poise even in battle, especially aglaea.

The looms of Okhema sang that morningâsoft metallic harmonies strung from thread and sunlight. Inside the weaving sanctum, Aglaeaâs golden hands moved like symphonies incarnate, each flick of her fingers tracing futures through gossamer and light.
Then came youâsmall, compact, utterly unassuming.
Barely over five feet, you stood on your toes to peek over a loom twice your height, smiling as though the sacred tools of the Dressmaster were trinkets in a toy shop. The air itself shimmered with her Coreflameâs grace, yet you only blinked at the golden motes floating past you.
âMorning,â Aglaea greeted, voice smooth as woven silk. âYouâre early.â
âYeah,â you said casually, flexing your hands, âhad to make sure I didnât accidentally punch through another door.â
Her composure fractured. âAnotherâ?â
You gestured sheepishly toward the entryway. The marble arch was now half-pulverized, dust curling like smoke around your knuckles. âIt was stuck.â
Aglaea blinked, then inhaled deeply through her nose, regaining composure with divine precision. âI see. Stuck.â
For a being who could thread the fate of nations, it wasnât often she was baffled. You were a contradiction made flesh: small, soft-faced, eternally cheerfulâand capable of casually ripping stone from the foundation.
But the day truly became mythic when she took you to the training grounds.
The courtyard shimmered with Okhemaâs banners. Golden light reflected from polished armor, sparring blades ringing in rhythm. Aglaea stood tall beside you, her gold-threaded toga swaying gently. Her expression was serene, instructional.
âYou neednât fight like the others,â she said, placing a hand on your shoulder. âGrace is more powerful than bruteââ
You nodded earnestly, then immediately punched the nearest practice dummy.
The sound was catastrophic.
The dummy didnât merely breakâit ceased to exist as an object, disintegrating into a thousand glittering splinters that whirled through the courtyard like an explosion of sawdust and despair.
Every soldier stopped. A silence deep enough to swallow prayers followed.
You blinked. âOops.â
Aglaeaâs hand remained midair, her serene expression frozen between horror and reluctant awe. A piece of the dummyâs head rolled to her feet and clinked once before dissolving into dust.
â...You said grace, right?â you asked innocently.
Aglaea closed her eyes. âI did,â she said softly. âThough I now see⊠grace may manifest in unorthodox forms.â
Later, while repairing the damage (with a very patient expression and an increasingly twitching smile), she found herself watching you from afarâhow you crouched to help gather shards, apologizing to every piece of debris like they had souls.
Something inside her softened.
You were absurd. Unbalanced. Impossible. Yet... radiant.
That night, after the sun dipped below the gold-threaded towers, she called for you again. You arrived carrying a chunk of rock that had offended you (âIt stubbed my toeâ), which she found oddly endearing.
âDear,â she said, walking toward you, the sound of her sandals like quiet bells. âDo you know why I weave?â
You shrugged. âTo make pretty things?â
Her laughter was soft, distant, and achingly sad. âOnce. But now I weave to keep the world from unraveling. To hold together all that might fall apart.â
You stared up at her, small but sturdy. âThen Iâll be your hammer,â you said. âIf the world breaks, Iâll punch it back into shape.â
She stilled. Thenâsmiled. Not her public, perfect smile, but something deeper. Tender.
âYou might very well do just that.â
And when she reached out, her fingers brushed your forehead, golden threads forming a faint halo around your silhouette. You didnât see it, but she didâyour strength was not chaos. It was her answer: the unrefined form of a Coreflame yet unnamed.
From that day onward, whenever Aglaea fought beside you, she didnât try to restrain you anymore. She adaptedâher golden threads forming shifting barriers to direct your strength instead of contain it.
To onlookers, it was the most beautiful absurdity: a divine weaver and a tiny juggernaut, moving in synchronyâthreads and thunder, grace and devastation.
And Aglaea, poised as always, would sometimes hide a faint smile behind her hand whenever you broke another wall.
After all, what was beauty, if not the dance between fragility and power?
Cipher had seen some strange things.
Sheâd seen Titans lie, thieves ascend, and entire cities vanish overnight.
But sheâd never seen a five-foot-tall Nameless yeet a fifteen-foot beast through a temple wall like a piece of discarded fruit.
The monster hit the marble with a thunderous boom, shaking dust from the rafters. You shook out your hand and muttered, âGuess I donât know my own strength.â
Cipher, perched casually on a toppled statue, stared, tail flicking in disbelief. âOh no, no, you definitely know your strength. You just lack⊠restraint.â
You grinned at her, sunlight catching your teeth. âHey, the thing was ugly. And loud.â
Cipher hopped down, landing beside you with the silent poise of a cat. âSoâs Bartholos when he eats, but you donât go launching him into the next province.â
She was teasingâbut her voice trembled slightly from laughing too hard. Her eyes darted over your small frame, trying to reconcile the impossibility of what sheâd just witnessed. You were barely up to her chest, with soft arms and an innocent face, yet your punch had collapsed a cathedral.
âWhatâs your secret?â she finally asked. âAncient blessing? Demonic contract? Weird gym membership?â
You shrugged. âI drink milk.â
She stared. Then burst out laughing. The kind of wild, genuine laugh that echoed across the ruins, a melody of disbelief and delight. âMilk. Fantastic. Iâve been chasing Coreflames, divine tricks, and all I needed was dairy.â
The next few days became a running joke between you two. Cipher started calling you Tiny Titan, Pocket Hercules, Pint-Sized Calamity.
You retaliated by calling her String Bean (which earned you a mock death threat).
But under the laughter, something else brewedâa spark of awe. Cipher wasnât used to being impressed by power. Trickery, yes. Wit, always. But you fought without malice, without ego. When she asked why you didnât boast, you just shrugged again.
âItâs just what I can do. Doesnât make me better.â
That answer haunted her more than any punch could.
Days later, the two of you stood on a cliff at dawn, overlooking a shattered battlefield. The air smelled like ozone and ash. You were perched on a boulder, swinging your legs idly. Cipher stood nearby, cloak fluttering, golden boots catching the light.
âYou ever⊠get tired of it?â you asked suddenly.
She tilted her head. âOf what? Running?â
âFighting. Running. Pretending everythingâs a joke.â
That question cut deeper than you realized. Her smirk faltered, for just a second. The wind filled the silence.
âYeah,â she said finally. âSometimes. But itâs better than standing still.â
You looked at her, tiny fists resting on your knees. âThen Iâll run with you.â
Cipher blinked. âYouâre joking.â
âNope. If youâre gonna keep running, Iâll punch the road clear.â
She stared at you for a long moment, tail twitching. Thenâsoftlyâshe smiled. âYouâre ridiculous. And reckless. And way too small to be saying things that heavy.â
But she took your hand anyway.
Later that night, while you slept under the stars, she sat beside you and whispered into the dark, âYou remind me what it felt like to believe we could still change the world.â
Then she grinned to herself. âStill gonna call you Tiny Titan, though.â
Mydei had fought giants, Titans, and ghosts of war.
None of them startled him as much as the sight of you lifting an entire siege engine over your head like a sack of grain.
The Kremnoan warriors nearby froze, half in awe, half in horror, as you hurled the contraption straight into the enemy line.
The explosion that followed wasâwellâloud.
Mydei, regal as ever, lowered his sword slowly. â[Name],â he said after a long pause. âWas that⊠necessary?â
You brushed dust from your shoulders, the ground trembling faintly beneath your boots. âThey had better aim than me.â
He exhaled. Deeply. âYou are aware that siege engines are not⊠handheld weapons?â
âThey are now.â
A distant explosion punctuated your words.
Despite his attempts at stoicism, Mydei found himself biting back a smile. You were chaos incarnate, yet somehow in perfect control. For all your childish stature, there was a strange majesty to youâlike a storm pretending to be a cloud.
Later, as the two of you stood on the edge of the battlefield, the ichor dusk washing the horizon, Mydei studied you in silence.
âYou donât look at battle with hunger,â he said at last. âOnly certainty.â
You turned to him, blinking. âWhy would I? I know Iâll win.â
He couldnât help itâa low chuckle escaped him. A sound so rare even his closest comrades wouldâve doubted their ears.
âYou remind me of the sea,â he murmured. âSmall from afar. Endless up close.â
You tilted your head. âThatâs kinda poetic.â
âI am a prince,â he said dryly. âIt comes with the curse.â
The nights that followed blurred into rhythm: you breaking rocks like they were glass, Mydei offering increasingly exasperated commentary, the soldiers whispering legends about the âPebble That Could Crush Mountains.â
In the quiet between wars, however, there was peace.
You would sit beside him by the fire, feet barely reaching the ground, and listen to him speak of the sea, of Kremnos, of things long lost. He rarely shared these memoriesâbut with you, he did.
Once, during a rare moment of levity, you tried lifting his armors (which is just his gauntlets) at once. He watched, amused, as you hoisted the gauntlet like it weighed nothing. âYouâll hurt yourself,â he warned.
You grinned. âYou mean your pride.â
That made him laughâtruly laughâuntil tears shimmered in his golden eyes.
When the final battle came, the black tide surged across the horizon like a living nightmare. Mydei drew his blade, ready to lead. You stood beside him, smaller than his shoulder but crackling with raw power.
âStay behind me,â he commanded out of habit.
You smirked. âSure thing, big guy.â
You then immediately punched the ground, creating a shockwave that blasted the front line of the enemy straight into oblivion.
Mydei didnât even flinch this time. He only sighed, smiled faintly, and said, âOf course.â
After the battle, as the dawn broke over a scarred world, he approached you while you cleaned his gauntlets by a puddle. â[Name],â he said softly, âif I fall, promise youâll carry our flame onward.â
You looked up, frowning. âDonât talk like that. Youâre not falling anywhere.â
He nodded once. âStillâpromise me.â
You clenched your tiny fist, then tapped it against his chest. âFine. But youâre gonna have to catch up, Lion.â
He chuckled again, turning to face the rising sun. âThen I shall run faster.â
And somewhere amid the wreckage and light, the warriors of Amphoreus whispered tales of an impossible pairâ
the Last Prince, tall as the mountains, and the tiny Trailblazer who could break them.
