Iron Lung started with one showing at a handful of theatres in Czechia. Now, almost two weeks later, we still have it here, in more theatres, even two showings at a single theare a day! They have it on program until next wednesday. That is 20 evenings so far. And y’know, they can still add more dates.
They were pretty reluctant to even have it here at all. This really goes to show that independent films can make it, that stuff can happen if people actively reach out.
