#tinnevelly apple pie: Given that dusk sets in early combined with the clouds ☁️, I decided to click my #applepie before it went into the oven. #pinkladyapples sliced and marinaded with #limejuice, #toddypalm sugar (an ingredient unique to #tirunelveli district in #southindia ) , #gingerroot #extract and a spice blend known as #chukkukaapi ( a mix of dried #ginger, #longpepper, #cardamom - kinda similar to the #Arabian #hawaij ). The pie crust recipe is from @Food52 's #geniusrecipes by @miglorious . #thanksgiving
