I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I’m just taking down my Christmas tree today. But- I’ve been pretty busy (and appropriately lazy) through the end of the holidays. Sunday Storytime: I’ve always comically prided myself on my Christmas tree lighting skills. @bradhurt7 taught me how to properly light a tree back in my department store days. @karengorecki and I would sit for hours/days/weeks perfectly wrapping dozens of artificial trees. Well, it works great on faux trees that can be packed up with the lights on, but pulling these suckers off a live (dead) tree is a real b**ch. 😖 I’d like to say “never again” but I know I’ll do it all again next holiday season!
