Cookie Biology 101: Chocolate

Chocolates are cookies who were baked with a high amount of chocolate in their dough.

The unique thing about chocolate is how many variations of it. At its core, chocolate is made from roasted and ground cocoa beans. These can create chocolate bars, chocolate syrup, flavoring, etc. Because of this, chocolate cookies can fall into many categories of biology. Let's use Crunchy Chip Cookie as an example. Crunchy Chip Cookie has both melted chocolate in his dough ad well as the chocolate chips (oreos). From just the chocolate alone, this puts him in the melted foods category as well as the neo-cookie category.

Despite mostly being dark, chocolate can also have different food dye added to it which effects the colors of a cookie. As another example, Pink Choco Cookie is made from Ruby Chocolate, which makes her dough lighter.

Since most chocolate cookies are made from the chocolate bars of hardened chocolate, I'm going to talk a but about those ones.

Despite chocolate bars being easily breakable for us, they're quite durable for cookies, and many even use it to make buildings or armor. Cookies who contain chocolate bars in their doughs are more durable, which makes them perfect warriors for the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

OvenBreak:

A lot of OvenBreak costumes suffer from what I call ‘New Release Syndrome’. Any time a new Cookie releases they immediately get a costume. It leaves me feeling like there’s no new costumes that’s growing ALONG WITH the character…except these two.

Gunfight at the O’cake Corral and Hop of Love Beam feel like the natural evolution of Choco Bar and Pink Choco’s characters. While still a stunt woman, the bright pastel blues and shiny sherif badge makes Choco Bar looks like the leading lady and of course as Pink Choco would learn to assuage her loneliness by protecting creatures who can’t protect themselves!

Kingdom:

I’m doing my best not to include Legendary skins cause that just feels like cheating but I love costumes that tell a story and Splitter of the Seas is one of those. Not only do I love the use of seafoam green (a colour I usually hate) but I also am just happy to have a costume for Stormbringer Cookie. Pastel Blue is like one of two skins that doesn’t imply Pure Vanilla suffering. I also like his cute little hat and sweater and I like costumes that mix up a Cookies hairstyle.

Tower of Adventure:

I will be so honest when I say I do not like a lot of TOA’s costumes. A majority of them just don’t appeal to me. Maid of Smiles is a standard Maid Cafe costume but it uses some nice pinks and isn’t weirdly sexualized (something I can’t say for Cream Soda’s costume…) Rosy New Year is probably one of Peach Cookie’s best costumes. It’s not only super cute but mixes Peach’s story with Korean culture.
