𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🐟 @hookrestaurants are back open! My favourite place to get fish and chips in London are currently running a smaller menu which is still packed with their amazing favourite dishes. But here’s a new addition to the menu! The Dirty Fish Burger. Fresh cod/haddock in panko breadcrumbs with rocket, wakame pickles, garlic truffle sauce, chipotle mayo, and hot sauce. I love how Hook choose a panko crumb over a traditional batter. It makes the fish feel more fresh and holds a lot less oil, every bite feels more clean. But it’s the combination of sauces that make this burger awesome. The creaminess from the garlic truffle sauce blended with the hot sauce and chipotle mayo really balances out the different tastes. Next week, 21-26th, Hook are giving 50% off their whole menu when you make a phone reservation with them. They panko crumb the fish rather than batter, and honestly I prefer this so much. The fish stays fresher, it’s less oily, or even not oily at all. This was the current months special; The Lebanese. It has a Baharat spiced panko and comes with their AMAZING seaweed salted chips.
