Could you pretty please do a part two to the Alastor x insane child reader? It was soo much fun! I loved it! Of course you donโt have to, no pressure, but I would love it soooooo much if you did!
This may be my longest break yet!!
ALASTOR X INSAINE!GN!CHILD!READER
Three days after Alastor found them in that alley, the Hazbin Hotel was already regretting letting this child inside. Vaggie was first. โWhyโWHY is there a severed arm in the cereal box?!โ she shrieked from the kitchen. Charlie scrambled after her. โMaybe itโsโmaybe itโs a misunderstanding?โ Y/N leaned over the counter, swinging their legs, chewing on a cookie theyโve definitely stolen. โHe wouldnโt stop talking, so I took the part that talked the most.โ
โThatโs the mouth,โ Angel Dust muttered while rolling his eyes. โYeah, well, I missed.โ Y/N snapped back. Suddenly Alastor appeared behind everyone in a burst of radio static, cane tapping. โLet the child have their fun, my dear sinners! Breakfast surprises keep things exciting.โ
โTHIS IS NOT A KIND OF EXCITING WE WANT!โ Vaggie snapped.
Angel Dust pointed at them with a lopsided grin. โKidโs got spirit, Iโll give โem that.โ Suddenly the toaster beside Y/N began to smoke. Y/N had shoved the other severed arm in there too, just to see what would happen.
It caught fire. Charlie screamed. Vaggie scrambled for the fire extinguisher. Alastor applauded. โMy, my, youโre full of surprises.โ His eyes gleamed crimson. โBut letโs channel that talent of yours into somethingโฆ productive.โ
Y/N perked at that. โLike what?โ He took their shoulder, guiding them toward the lobby. โA learning experience. A field trip, if you will.โ
โIs it violent?โ
โOne can hope!โ
The hotel was still in chaos behind them smoke, shouting, Angel Dust cursingโฆbut Y/N and Alastor slipped out the front doors like it was the most ordinary morning in Hell.
โ
( SMALL TIME SKIP:D )
Alastor noticed instantly.
He was in the lobby, polishing his cane, pretending to tolerate Angel Dust and Husk bickering in the background, when the silence hit him. Not real silence Hell never offered that anyways, but the absence of Y/Nโs noise.
Their humming.
Their footsteps.
Their little murder attempts.
Gone.
His smile twitched, tiny and sharp.
โHas anyone seen our little hellspawn today?โ he asked lightly.
Charlie perked up. โTheyโre not in the kitchen. Or the roof.โ
Angel Dust took a drag. โEither the kidโs nappingโฆ or they wandered off. Again.โ
Alastorโs radio crackled faintly. Not loud. Not angry.
But dangerous.
โOne does not simply wander away from me,โ he murmured.
The shadows curled around his ankles in agreement.
โ
Outside the hotel, the city stretched like a broken labyrinth, neon signs flickering over sinners.
Alastor didnโt rush, he never rushed. But the ground darkened beneath each step, as if Hell itself pointed the way.
He found Y/N in a district he found distasteful. Modern. Artificial. and sure enough the Vees had them. โWhereโd you crawl out of, huh?โ Velvette said, more amused than impressed. โYouโre a mess, butโฆ a watchable mess.โ She nudged their chin up for the drone, her tone flat, bored, like this was all just content to her.
โStay still. Iโm checking your angles.โ
Voxtagram flashed blue as Vox stepped forward. His screen face flickered with the idea of great opportunity. โAnd youโre sure this one isnโt a plant from the old radio fossil?โ The third of the trio, Valentino, crouched to eye-level, smirk dripping like poison. โHey sweetheart, you lost? Or you runninโ from someone?โ
Y/N shrugged, chewing a piece of gum theyโd stolen previously from Angel Dustโs bag. โI was bored.โ
Vox , after a quick glance crossed his arms. โWe could use a kid like this. Wild energy. No moral compass. Good for our ratings.โ
They tilted their head. โWhatโs a rating?โ
Valentino laughed. โYouโll learn, baby.โ
Suddenly static snapped through the air like a whip.
Every screen on the street glitched.
Voxโs face warped.
Velvetteโs drones crashed to the pavement.
Valentinoโs cigarette burned out immediately.
And Alastorโs voice slid through the speakers, velvet over metal. โGood afternoon, Vees.โ He stepped into view, cane tapping, smile carved into his face like a permanent crescent. Vox stiffened. Valentino muttered, โJust greatโฆโ
Velvette grabbed them by the shoulders. โWeโre babysitting!โ Alastorโs grin widened. โIndeed you are. Though I must say, your choice of entertainment is lacking. Youโve picked up something that does not belong to you.โ
Y/N waved. โHi!โ
His tone sharpened polite yet terrifying. โCome here, little one.โ But theyโฆ didnโt move. Y/N looked between him and the Vees, mischievous eyes glinting like broken glass. โI wanted to see โฆstuff,โ they said simply. โAnd theyโre fun.โ
Vox smirked. โHear that, old-timer?โ
Alastorโs shadow stretched far behind him, swallowing neon, swallowing light, swallowing confidence. โFun,โ he repeated softly. โIs subjective.โ Vox stepped forward. โWe didnโt steal your kid.โ
โChild,โ Alastor corrected. โAnd no you didnโt steal them.โ
The static deepened.
Red eyes burned.
His cane tapped.
โYou made the mistake of entertaining them.โ Velvette squinted. โWhy do you care? This gremlin isnโt yours.โ Alastorโs smile didnโt change, but something ancient and murderous slid beneath it. โI care,โ he said, โbecause I get terribly tempted to clean up a mess when i see one,โ The static thickened. He tilted his head, smile carved in place. โand you, Vox, have always been a veryโฆeasy mess to clean.โ
Voxโs screen buzzed. โYou threatening me?โ
โCertainly not.โ
His grin glowed crimson.
โIโm promising you.โ
This time he extended his hand toward Y/N not gentle or coaxing, not even fatherly.
Just command. โCome, little brute.โ And this time, Y/N obeyed. They skipped over and grabbed his coat, the Vees watching with a strange mix of frustration, relief, and fear. Alastor tipped his hat. โGood day, folks! Try not to touch anything that isnโt yours.โ As he led them away, they piped up, โThey smelled a little funny.โ He chuckled. โMost things do.โ After a small pause Y/N speaks up again โAre you mad I ran away?โ โNot mad,โ he said, voice low. โMerely reminded.โ
โOf what?โ
He glanced down at them, grin razor-sharp. โThat even tiny storms can drift as predictable as it is and must be guided back.โ Y/N beamed. โAre you gonna teach me more stuff now?โ โMost certainly,โ he purred. โBut next time you wander offโฆโ
His radio crackled.
โโฆyou wonโt get far before I fetch you.โ
And with that, Alastor walked them back to the hotel Though Y/N didnโt see the way Alastorโs smile shifted once they werenโt looking.dNot softer. Not warmer. Just a little more dangerous. They were chaos. And chaos, properly tuned, was a symphony he intended to conduct.
